Location is fantastic and very friendly staff
The room itself is nice although there was a rumbling noise during the day which I think was coming from the House of Illusions below us but not sure. Either way I would highly recommend this hotel.

Don’t do it
We were really looking forward to a bit of luxury, but it has been nothing but disappointment. We arrived during a heat wave to find that our room had no air conditioning—only a floor fan and an open window facing a busy road.
The receptionist was incredibly kind and initially told us we could receive a refund if we chose to leave, so we immediately found another hotel. Unfortunately, when the confirmation email came through, the manager denied the refund, leaving us with no choice but to stay.
We reluctantly accepted the situation, even though it wasn't what we had booked or expected. Then, after returning to the hotel later that night, there were no lights in our room. We were told there was a district-wide power outage, despite the lobby still having power. To top it off, emergency sirens started sounding around 2:00 a.m.
I want to emphasize that the front desk staff have been lovely throughout this—it is absolutely not their fault. My frustration is entirely with the hotel's management and how this situation has been handled. For a property marketed as a luxury hotel, the customer service has been extremely disappointing. It's frustrating to be stuck here for two more nights after our request to leave was refused.

A wonderful gem
What a wonderful gem in the heart of Budapest. It's at Deak Ferenc ter -- about a block from the Ferris wheel (for comparison's sake). The Museum of Illusions is in the same courtyard as the hotel.
Quiet, clean; friendly staff; good prices.
The metro/subway is about a block away as is the fashion street. A lot of action in the area. Tons of restaurants.
And the 100E Airport Express bus has a dropoff and pickup about two blocks.
I would definitely stay here again.
