Rarely have I been in such a superb apartment. Truly excellent and would be my first choice if I were to return to Budapest.

We arrived to the place. There was no one at reception. 2 other people who tried to check in let us in. Tried to call the number at reception, no one picked up. Found instructions as a message through hotels.com. We got into the garage and went up to the apartment. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Tried to call their number, no answer. Called hotels.com customer service and complained. They tried to reach them, no answer. I got a refund from hotels.com for our 1 night stay and they apologized for the inconvenience. The place is nicely renovated and quite. The air-conditioning only went down to 23 Celsius and no air movement. So we had to use our fan to keep cool at night as it was very hot out there. So terrible service and no communication. Would not return.

Very efficient suite--well thought through, everything was at our arm's reach including convenience stores about 2 minutes walk.

home away from home in Budapest

We had a perfect stay at Marone Suites in Budapest. The apartment has absolutely everything you need – it’s fully equipped down to the smallest details, including an umbrella and even a shoehorn. Everything is clean and well-organized: cutlery, plates, and several bins, including for recycling. There is a huge TV screen, and the area is quiet and very safe. The refrigerator is quite large as well.
You could easily stay there for several months – it truly feels like a home away from home, right in a central location in Budapest. We have made this apartment hotel our regular place to stay whenever we visit Budapest. We come every three months and know many hotels in the city – but this one is exceptional.

Everything was super clean, with daily room cleaning. Location was fab, easily accessible to everything.
