A perfect choice for my needs

My stay here was the perfect balance of cost and quality. The apartment was impeccably clean, and it had everything I needed. The location was convenient to the metro and trams, and was a five minute walk to a mall with a large grocery so I could stock yogurt and seltzer. It was marvelously quiet despite being in a busy area. I might suggest a few more towels in the room on check-in, but that’s a tiny quibble. I was really happy with my choice.

Perfect base for our city break

We are coming to the end of a 4 night stay at Marbles Residence. We had booked this hotel as it was extremely reasonably priced compared to other hotels in Budapest, so we weren’t expecting much.
We arrived Sunday evening and booked an uber from the airport for around £20 which dropped us off at the hotel.
Prior to arrival, we were provided with a code to enter the hotel, our room number and a code for the lockbox that held our keycard for the room. The process of gaining access was extremely straightforward and we were in our hotel within minutes.
The hotel room itself was perfect. A large, spacious room with a private shower room, dining space and kitchenette. It was cleaned to an excellent standard and was a great base for exploring the city. Our only criticism is that there was only 2 sachets of coffee for a 4 night stay for 2 people, so we ended up buying a lot of coffees from the cafe downstairs!
It is around a 30 minute walk into the central areas of Budapest, however the hotel is right next to Corvin metro station. We bought a 72 hour travel pass for around £15 each and used the metro to access the city centre. The trains come every 3-4 minutes and it takes no more than 10 minutes from the hotel to the city centre. We found this to be extremely easy to navigate.
There’s great amenities around the area of the hotel, including convenience shops, coffee shops and a lovely Italian restaurant directly opposite.

Quiet, relaxing, clean place with a friendly and helpful staff. It is located within a 15 minute walk to the Airport Express bus stop and 5 minutes to a shopping Mall. I would return here again.

Only issue was getting into the building because Hotels.com didn't send email with code entry and other instructions. Called front desk and everything went smoothly for the rest of our stay. Picked this hotel mainly for convenience of public transportation. Metro, rail and buses are just steps away.

I had an excellent 4 night stay here. From the start the communication was excellent and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was as shown in the photos, it was perfectly clean and had everything I needed. The rooms are around a nice courtyard which takes you away from the heat and noise of the city and makes for a quiet stay. Location is great with access to trams and the metro just a few steps away. Highly recommended.
