Highly recommended family hotel for an easy, affordable and authentic stay in Tashkent
The staff and owner were especially helpful and friendly. They didn’t just give us tips where to eat or shop, but actually shared personal connections that brought us to a hidden gem of a restaurant which we would otherwise not have discovered.
They were also very flexible and helpful when our travel plans changed unexpectedly and we had to stay longer in Tashkent - the staff helped us cancel our other hotel reservations last minute (which was impossible online) so we wouldn’t incur extra costs.
We also really liked the neighbourhood, it’s authentic: a human scale residential area near to a bustling main road full of shops, street sellers and restaurants. We only had good interactions with locals and the prices of restaurants, groceries or anything is literally a fraction of the price of downtown markets like Chorsu Bazar (a bowl of mulberries there cost 12 euros, while a much bigger bowl, cost us less than 2 euros om the street market near the hotel). So we highly recommend exploring the local area thoroughly. You will find many things you might be looking for downtown.
