This has to be one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Shout out to Shakhram at reception for the excellent service. The room was very spacious, the breakfast options were plentiful and always fresh, and I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Silk Road tourism complex. I stayed in the off season so it can be a little more barren, but it’s 100% worth the few extra dollars you might spend getting into the city center (I never had any problems with Yandex). The room shower had amazing water pressure, and they always were quick to replenish my minibar with tea and fresh spring water. I will be back! :)

Excellent
Review of Hotel Sawitzki – Samarkand
I had an excellent stay at Hotel Sawitzki in Samarkand. The room was perfectly adapted to my needs and very comfortable. The service throughout my stay was truly perfect.
The breakfast was very good and extremely rich, with plenty of choices to start the day well thanks to Nigena and Alabama
I would also like to mention the reception team, who were very helpful, attentive, and always ready to assist especially Ahkhmed who was driving me in the buggy to the conference center
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Samarkand.

Worst
i visited this hotel on 18.05.2025. Good property, worst maintenance & service.
AC doesn't work at all, i called technician at 1 am as it was very suffocating. Room booked with Terrance but given with balcony. Breakfast is worst. property doesn't have glasses for drinking water, hotel ask you to drink in tea cup. its horrible. when need to contact F&B manager, Team as instructed by management, don't contact to any senior person. All 5 star property offer fresh juices in breakfast, but this property offer you only tetra pack so called juice ( infect it is sugar syrup with flavored water). Had an opportunity to meet with F&B manager, he was just listening & no response. He offered fresh juice, @ 12 noon, when asked for orange juice he offered something else. Picture attached. totally unprofessional. overall experience is worst through out our family trip to uzbekistan.

An excellent structure.
Comfortable beds and spotless clean. The bathroom really flawless. Bathrobes, towels, huge shower. Quiet. Great breakfast you will find everything from croissants to Uzbek cuisine.
If we really want to find some smudges ... the carpet of the corridor a bit stained and far from the city center, but taxis are very cheap.

Luxury hotel
Brand new hotel, very nice room, modern, comfortable bed, quiet, everything perfect, high quality breakfast, very kind staff. Located 10 minutes from the city but with Yandex with a few dollars you arrive in the center.
