Fresh Condo for both short and long term rental

A quiet and cozy condo. We weren't housed right away, we had to wait for the employee from lunch, but still before 2 p.m. Room 100/17 was on the second floor at the very end of the corridor, to the left of the kitchen with no neighbors turns out, with a view to the wall and the courtyard on the kitchen-living room side, to the courtyard on the bedroom side. Neighbours were hardly heard, in general people were not seen here often, and according to the aggregators the occupancy rate is 100% and there are no places available.
The apartment is clean, but the furniture, especially upholstered, is worn by visitors. Linens are fresh, towels are crisp. The dishes are nominal, but for example, the pan is all scratched, so only the food was boiled in a small container. The kitchen has a 2-burner stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, full size fridge. In the rack closet, in the shower there are large dispensers with shampoo and shower gel. Each room has air conditioning (clean, smellless, no noise), the living room has a good TV, shower water heater, hairdryer, bedroom has a desk lamp. Trash in the elevator room, on the floor. WiFi in the apartment is very fast, the two of you can work online without problems + simultaneously listen to music, watch videos and something to download.
On the roof there is a place to relax, huge sunbeds suspended, a small gym with air conditioning, a yoga area, toilets, showers and a very large swimming pool, viewing in all directions. It's 1.2 meters deep, the water's clean, there's not a lot of deckchairs, only six of them, but there's always not many people by the pool. The view from here is in all directions, and the sea is seen with the port, and the mountains, and the sitting on Mount Buddha, and the whole area.
Within walking distance are two shops 7/11 (across the street left, on the same side right), rent bikes (in a nearby building), Big C mini (across 4 houses right from the alley), a large shopping mall with groceries (road) and home goods, several exchangers with different rates (on the corner across the street seaward the best rate). The port is 10 minutes' walk away, the huge Super Cheap with the local market inside is also about 10 minutes' walk. In rent, they took a moped and drove to the temple of Wat Chalong, the giant shopping mall of Phuket Central and Kata Noi beach. The Big Buddha is visible from the condo, but in October 2024 it is still closed to the public, only nearby you can stand in the parking lot and look at the island from a height and the Buddha from the side (beware of the monkeys!).
The condo lobby brings food, goods from Lazada, Shoppy, etc. Parking is for cars in the yard, mopeds in the building.
Cons: Did not like the general lighting of the apartment, it is spot under the high ceiling and very sparse, in the evening it is directly dark and uncomfortable. There wasn't enough light in the kitchen above the work surface, you can't see what you're cutting, what you're boiling. There was not enough laundry dryer on the balcony, they were dried on railings and they are rusty, there is nowhere to hang the hanger, uncomfortable. The room is not a safe, not at all, although the booking on the website stated that there was one. The apartments haven't been cleaned once in the week we've lived there. The apartments had no drinking water, not even a bottle bucket, bought themselves in 7/11.
On the whole enjoyed the stay here very much, the downsides on the whole are not so significant, but they will have to be eliminated themselves with a long lease, some live here for several months. You can winter and work. We recommend it!

Not so DLUX

I should have known when I stepped into the lift the floor had seen better days. Not clean tatty towels Pillows rock hard and smelly. lots of road noise and a dog howling all night. Lasted one night here.

There are very few shops nearby. To visit them, you have to risk your life crossing a busy highway, which is undergoing nearby construction. The drivers are aggressive and inconsiderate, practically targeting you as you cross the street. No crosswalks are nearby either.

Great pool and location. Terrible room and not a pleasant overall experience!

We did not have a great experience here. The pictures are clearly from when it first opened and the place and rooms need a lot of maintenance. We arrived on New Year’s Day at about 9 in the morning. We knew we wouldn’t be able to check in until later but said we would go check. When I went to the desk there was no staff other than one man who obviously wasn’t reception staff as he had no idea about anything.I assume this was because it was New Year’s Day but surely have someone who can do check ins since people are still arriving. I explained that we had a booking but he kept saying they are full and we don’t have a booking. He said we had to ring in advance to confirm our booking. I showed him our confirmed booking and he just kept saying no and saying we have to call someone but did not explain who.He had no English so we were going back and forth with Google translate. This went on for about 40 minutes before he called someone and then said yes it’s fine come back at 4 to check in. When we came back we were handed a key and did not ask anything, all he had was my name so there wasn’t really a checking in process. We had a room with a kitchen. It was below average. It was small, not very clean and there was stains all over the furniture. The table was all chipped and had crumbs and dust as if it hadn’t been cleaned. The beds were hard and the pilllow was non existent. We asked for extra pillows and they said they had none. Our bathroom light was also broke and constantly flickered. We asked to be moved but they said they were fully booked. The balcony was tiny and more just to look out as you couldn’t sit or stand on it. Also the view was literally a building site. Could hear everything outside from cars to building trucks early in the morning. While staying here we also had a woman unlock our door and come in while I was in the room on my own. She looked shocked and asked how long we are here for and I explained two weeks( this was a week into our trip) Its seemed as if they did not know we were there since the check in was so messy. The hallway was also completely flooded the day we were leaving. The only good things about the place was the rooftop pool which was nice and quite with lovely views. It was also in a good location. We did get it for a good price but I think for what it was there are so many other lovely places to stay for similar pricing.

The room wasn’t spotlessly clean, but was great for the price and worked out well for me. Location is good, lots of local restaurants to try.
