Lovely place, lovely staff

A wonderful place to stay with extremely helpful, friendly staff. The Reception team gave us a lovely welcome, the food and beverage team were brilliant and the food was awesome. Housekeeping kept the room spotless and the aircon was great too.

A little disappointing!

We chose this hotel because the reviews were very positive about the price. However, some observations surprised us and we wish to share them.
As soon as you enter the garden, the presence of mosquitoes, favored by areas of standing water, gives an unpleasant impression. What shocked us most is the condition of the terrace, supposed to be white, located near the pool: it is stained and visibly poorly maintained.
We also tested the gym, which is either of poor quality or poorly fixed. Regarding breakfast, the staff remains present but not very active: we had to ask someone to clear our table. In addition, several products served were cold, such as chicken or eggs.
On the other hand, the rooms are spacious and very well maintained, which offsets the negatives. As everywhere in the establishment, the staff remains very pleasant.

We chose this hotel because the reviews were very good for the price. However, we noticed several things that surprised us and wanted to share them.
Upon entering the garden, the first impression is that you are likely to be bitten by mosquitoes, which thrive in areas of stagnant water around the hotel. What shocked us most was the condition of the terrace next to the pool, which is supposed to be white but is stained and clearly lacking maintenance.
We also tried the gym, where the equipment was either poorly secured or of low quality. As for breakfast, the staff were present but not very proactive—we had to ask someone to clear our table. In addition, many of the food items, such as chicken and eggs, were served cold.
On the positive side, the rooms are spacious and very well maintained, which helps balance the overall impression. As everywhere in the hotel, the staff remain very pleasant.

Treated like thives

We stayed 1 night late arrival before going to Phulay Bay Ritz Carlton. Transfer, checking all were OK. Room is fine. Restaurant is really good with several options and reasonable prices.
When we checked out next day to go to Phulay Bay, they stopped us in reception not allowing entering the car because we did not return 2 simple key cards for room. We are asked to go to room to check them with house keeping. Really a big shame for hotel.

Good value for money

Nice resort with positive and helpful staff. It was a bit quiet due to the war in the middel east but that suited us just fine. Good breakfast buffet. Nice pool area. The sunset from the beach just over the street from the resort was lovely. Tips to the hotel: cooperate with the nearby shops and institutions and clean a part of the beach once a year. It only takes a few hours and it would make a great impact. Without life wests, shoes and plastic it would look even better.

Quiet Gem

Fabulous hotel in a very quiet area. Excellent staff. Breakfast was wonderful. The hotel is set in beautifully landscaped gardens. One of the nicest swimming pools we’ve used. We had a room on the top floor with a bath. The room was very spacious, with beautiful bathroom (separate shower cubicle). Efficient A/C and wi-if, comfortable bed. Very clean. We enjoyed late afternoons on the balcony listening to the birds. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to the night market. There are a number of restaurants nearby, all of which were excellent and very reasonable. There is a 7/11 less than 10 min walk away. We would definitely return.
