3 Magical Days in Phi Phi with My Wife at Bayview Resort – Ocean Views, Romance & Island Vibes

I stayed for 2 days and 3 nights at Phi Phi Bayview & Premier Resort with my wife, and it was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to the Phi Phi Islands.
The resort has an amazing hillside location with stunning views of the ocean and nearby islands. Waking up with my wife and seeing that view from the balcony every morning felt unreal. It’s the kind of scenery that instantly puts you in a holiday mood.
Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Whether it was arranging small requests or guiding us with local tips, they made everything easy and comfortable for us as a couple traveling together.
Our room was simple, clean, and comfortable. It wasn’t overly luxurious, but it had a cozy island charm that worked perfectly for the vibe of Phi Phi. The highlight was definitely the view, especially during sunrise and sunset, which we enjoyed together from our room.
We really loved the peaceful mornings at the resort. Sitting with my wife, having coffee, and just taking in the calm surroundings before the island got busy was one of the most relaxing parts of our trip.
At the same time, the location was convenient for exploring the island. We could easily go out in the evenings for beach walks, nightlife, and fire shows, and then return to a quiet and peaceful place to rest.
Overall, our 2 nights and 3 days here felt perfect for a balance of relaxation and adventure. It gave us beautiful shared memories, and I would definitely recommend it for couples visiting Phi Phi who want great views, calm surroundings, and easy access to everything the island has to offer.

You can’t beat the view, it’s amazing! Need to be some what fit to walk up stairs/hills to room. Basic breakfast, restaurant/bar very basic

IGNORE THE RECENT HATE

IGNORE ALL OF THE RECENT BAD REVIEWS. We have just checked in and the recent bad reviews are all lies. It is clean and fresh, staff are friendly and we certainly have not been treated worse as Europeans, extra beds can be provided but unsuitable for teenagers/adults. Towels and beach towels are provided as well as umbrellas, safe, fridge and even a bug zapper.
Yes you access the hotel from the beach so keep this in mind if your travelling with suitcases ( we choose to travel with backpacks ).
Things to be aware of, the hotel is set on a hill so not suitable for those with mobility issues. Water pressure isnt great but your right on the beach on an island not an inner city. Last thing, air con is good but not amazing so takes some time to bring the temperature down.
A great place that just needs a little tlc

Everyone at the reception is slow and unwelcome, put them away, because the face of the hotel is the reception and it's terrible. But the most important thing is that Europeans are put into the worst rooms and at an expensive rate, and Asians are half the price and the best rooms are given, quietly take money no matter what you see. We escaped after two days.

Pire expérience en Thaïlande

I booked seven of the most expensive and largest villas for my group, expecting a high-quality experience. Before arrival, I clearly requested that all villas be next to each other and on the first row by the beach. None of this was respected. Our villas were spread far apart and some were on the second row, which was never mentioned when booking.
The villas are far from each other and not as large as advertised. Extra beds are tiny, uncomfortable, and extremely expensive. I asked several times for a baby cot before arriving. The hotel never told me they didn’t have one. I only found out on arrival and had to rent another extra bed on site, at additional cost.
The rooms are very old, poorly maintained, dirty, and in bad condition. There are even holes in the rooms leading directly outside. We saw several huge cockroaches during our stay. The shower water is salty, some windows don’t close properly, and the veranda doors barely close. The linens smell bad.
The swimming pool is completely neglected, lost in the middle of poorly maintained nature, with no bar and clearly no maintenance.
Access to the hotel is only via the beach, which is very inconvenient. On top of all this, the staff were unpleasant and unhelpful.
Overall, a very disappointing experience and absolutely not worth the high price paid.
