Exceptional view and welcome! A wonderful stop!

Stunning views, exceptional panorama, warm and attentive welcome! Second stay with Nicole who is in the care. After a 4 night stay in April 2024 where we had been able to appreciate the quality of the food, the kindness of the welcome and the extreme cleanliness of the rooms and common areas, we promised ourselves to return. It’s done and everything is still as pleasant and comfortable. Stay in 2026 to schedule therefore!

Food of medium to low quality. Service not particularly attentive. I can't call it a good experience. Reviewable

Average food and service

We stopped at the restaurant at Hotel Simplonblick for lunch. It was surprisingly quiet. The waitress looked like she didn't want to be at work!
I had the cheese sandwich which consisted of 2 pieces of bread with a few slices of cheese on top.While we were eating, the waitress brought her lunch into the restaurant, and proceeded to eat! The food was average unfortunately

Recommended!

Our conclusion after 3 nights: Practical rooms, (passport traffic does not disturb strongly at night), absolutely clean shared showers and toilets, fine soups, delicious salad appetizers and a very friendly and humorous hostess.

Unbeatable location at Simplon pass

Simple room with a shared spotless bathroom at each floor - unbeatable view from the room on the snow-capped mountains surrounding the Simplon-pass. Good food and very friendly owner. Don’t expect something fancy but a perfect and pleasant stop when walking from Brig-Rosswald to Gspon in a gorgeous environment (not much traffic on the road of the Simplon pass since it was just a few days after borders reopened post COVID19 crisis)
