A Must Visit Gem in the hills

The property is gorgeous and sits in the hills approx 1.5km from town. Great, spacious room with balcony/fan/mozzie net. Loved the hot shower
Fabulous breakfast each morning with fresh made juice Couldn't ask for better hosts. A huge THANK YOU for having me.

Unacceptable Treatment, Denial of Reserved Room, and Refund Request (Reservation on 27th and 28th May 2026)

Formally complain about my experience with the property at No. 15 (advertised as “Tree Breeze Inn”) regarding my reservation for 27th and 28th May 2026
I clearly informed the property on 27 May 2026 that I would be arriving late and requested a late check-in and late check-out. The manager (female) acknowledged and confirmed this arrangement; I have proof of this communication. Based on that confirmation, I arrived on the morning of 28 May expecting to check in and vacate the room at 5:00 PM the same day.
At approximately 7:30 AM on 28th May, the manager confronted me aggressively and refused to provide the room I had booked, despite her earlier confirmation. Her conduct was hostile and unprofessional; she proceeded to blame Agoda and Booking.com for the booking price and refused to honour the reservation. There was no visible property name board indicating “Tree Breeze Inn” — only a number plate reading “No. 15.”
The manager also failed to return the payment I had already made.
Given the hostile situation and my scheduled commitments that day, I opted to leave the premises rather than escalate the confrontation. I also experienced practical difficulties with access to the property: the access road is an unpaved gravel road and ride-hailing services (Uber, PickMe) rarely pick up there as it's internal.These logistical issues were not made clear in the listing.
Finally, I have concerns about the property’s compliance with local regulations and tax obligations; I believe this accommodation may require supervision by the relevant travel authorities.

Best of Kandy

So safe and very calm place. Best for solo and couples. Staff is very friendly and this place is highly rated for the clean and the wealth. If you are a nature lover and who look for calm place this is the best place i ever seen in kandy. Price also fair

Great spot in kandy

We stayed here twice in our time in Kandy. Really enjoyed our stays here, super accomdating and friendly owners, close to town (200 lkr tuk tuk or 20 min walk), lots of space, comfy beds, great breakfasts. The walk into town around sunset is beautiful.

Awesome place with awesome breakfast

This is an awesome place to stay in Kandy. The place is comfortable and cozy and it's quite a large apartment.
The host is a very warm lady who goes out of her way to keep us comfortable. The breakfast there is a must have. She makes some amazing Sri lankan food.
Would definitely recommend it to all traveling to Kandy.
