Our choice of calving was ,for a quiet holiday away from the city bustle.

Cozy and clean hotel, quick check-in, pleasant atmosphere around, with a beautiful picturesque courtyard.The room was clean and neat, nice interior! Cleaning was done every day! The staff are very polite and responsive. Breakfast is delicious and with a good selection of dishes. A great option for both long stays and short stays! We were satisfied with the accommodation! Good value for money!

After reading other reviews and looking at pictures, we were very disappointed by our stay here. Upon arrival at the property, we had to wait to be greeted. When We walked into the property, all of the curtains were shut, and it was very dark and had a strange vibe. When we were shown to our room, it was in a bleak state. The bathroom needed repair and overall the room was not clean. I had to plug my charger in under the bed and you could tell that it had not been cleaned properly in a long time. We were only given one towel and there was no toilet roll. the view out of the window is onto a balcony filled with lots of junk. I did not find the hosts helpful and struggled to get into town due to no wifi and bad service. I asked if they could arrange a tuk tuk to take us but this wasn’t offered and luckily I got enough 4G for an uber. The radio was played all day and all night so I woke in the night because of this. we didn’t even sleep under the covers because we didn’t feel that it would be clean enough . in the morning, We went to leave around 8:30 however, there was no one to be found so we unlocked the external gates ourselves and left. This is such a shame because from other reviews, it seems that people have had a great stay here with welcoming hosts and I can see that the property has potential however we definitely would not recommend it in its current state.

Daje with mango

Hotel 12 minutes from downtown with tuk tuk. Very cute, woody and with a parking lot if you have your own vehicle.
Fair price and clean enough.
The owners are strong. They collect everything and more.
The only thing is take a look at the rooms because some of them are ridiculously damp.
They offer various tar services including taxi tuk tuk.

Situated in kandy , very lovely location, surrounded by green , no noice , excellent staff , relax , home away home , you can cook for your self , can make a small party , you will get free tuk tuk ride from city to the Mango , pick me cost you 200 LKR , should visit this place at least to see this location

Great Stay at The Mango

The Mango is situated in a lovely little spot on a hill above Kandy which is just 5 minutes drive to the centre. It has big rooms with a nice comfy bed. The outside areas are lovely to sit and relax in too. Fabulous tasty breakfast!
Vindi was such an excellent host. He helped me with lots of different things from arranging airport pick up, exchanging money and taking me places around the city. Really friendly and a great welcome to Sri Lanka. He also arranged a tour for me with his friend Ranga. Ranga was great too! Would definitely recommend staying at The Mango and sampling Vindi’s lovely hospitality.
