Very pleased!

We had been recommended the place by a friend from home and were not disappointed. The host was cute, welcoming, helpful and ready with good ideas for activities and attractions. We felt very welcome and well received - and we were sent well as he drove us to the train station.
Breakfast was really delicious with great variety and there was more than we could eat. He has our greatest recommendations!

Quiet oasis just away from Kandy hullabaloo

Recommendation from Irish couple in Colombo, what a find. Perfect. Just a min tuk tuk from the hustle & bustle into a quiet valley. Friendly team, attentive, cannot do too much. Breakfast, great in variety and lots of it. Lucky to get the last room. Full AC, hot shower, no TV - bonus! VERY CLEAN, rooftop eating for dinner and breakfast, lots of birds to hear and see.

Excellent visit and one not to be missed.

We arrived quite late at the Villa but were warmly greeted by Hershan and his staff. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and the beds were really comfortable. The whole villa was beautifully furnished and although we were only booked for one night, we felt so at home, we asked if we could stay another night. There was a/c and a tray with kettle and a selection of teas and coffee in our room. A hairdryer was also provided and blankets should we need them.
After our long train journey from Nuwaraeliya we decided to arrange for dinner in the evening which was taken on the rooftop. Breakfast was also served on the rooftop and this was an enjoyable selection of fruit, omelette, and pancakes etc.
It was a lovely experience staying at the villa with excellent staff, and if we ever had the opportunity to travel to Sri Lanka in the future, this would be one of our favourite choices.

Nice, clean Boutique Hotel in quiet area with nice food

Small, very nice hotel in a quiet area only a short ride away from the bustling city. Could be called “Boutique Hotel” with only four clean, lovely rooms in a well maintained colonial building.
Good shower with a curtain for those of us who don’t like wet bathroom floors.
Very friendly, caring owner. He used to be a guide and hence is very knowledgeable.
Good breakfast with nice variety, for once just the right amount (and not far too much like in some other places). Dinner was tasty as well.
Wonderful rooftop terrace for the meals. And: no mosquitoes!
