Peaceful Stay Surrounded by Nature

We enjoyed our stay at Mount Blue Kandy. Although it’s a little far from Kandy city center, the peaceful location and lush green surroundings made it worthwhile.
The room was clean with a very comfortable bed. The staff were warm and welcoming, especially the restaurant team, who provided excellent service throughout our stay.
A great choice for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay near Kandy.

A special thank you to Mr.Chathnran and all other incredible staff for their warm hospitality, kindness, and excellent service. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!

This is an excellent property at a beautiful location with great views. The breakfast I had here was one of the better ones I had in SL. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The rooms were clean and spacious.
The only thing I will mention is getting to this place is through a km of very narrow hilly road. Trust your driver and hopefully you do not have too big of a car. Once you get here, the view and the resort is worth it. Minimize the up and down trips to city of Kandy from here if you can and spend more time at resort.

Wonderful place to stay in Kandy

The stay at the hotel was highly enjoyable, with a warm and welcoming environment supported by attentive and friendly staff who ensured a consistently comfortable experience. The food was well-prepared, flavorful, and served in generous portions, accommodating a range of preferences. The overall ambiance was enhanced by a beautiful view, which contributed to a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere throughout the stay. In addition, the availability of hot water and the quality of in-room amenities were exceptional. Overall, the hotel provided a thoroughly satisfying experience and is strongly recommended for guests seeking comfort, quality service, and a scenic setting.

The room was clean but the design is a little off in the second bedroom bathroom. There is no separation between the shower and the toilet, so when you shower you inevitably wet the toilet paper… The staff were very accommodating - we had an early pick up to go to Ella, so they told us to go to restaurant 15 mins before their normal service hour to have breakfast. And they made our breaky very quickly so that we could be on time for our trip.
One thing to note, the Google map way to get to the hotel is not right, as there is a road closure due to the cyclone in 2025. It is also a very narrow road up to this hotel which is on top of a hill. Our driver from Colombo struggled to find the way to get here and the direction the hotel gave may not mean much to drivers outside of Kandy. He had to ask local motorist to get us there.
