Everything was ok

I spent one night at this hotel while travelling through Sri Lanka. The hotel is located very close to the centre of Kandy, but it is uphil,l so be prepared for a 15 minute walk uphill or just take a tuk-tuk (cost to train station is around 400-500LKR). The room was ok, with 2 single beds, nice and clean bathroom and a small balcony. They also offer complimentary breakfast, standard as for Asia – eggs, toasts and fresh fruits. They also have a beer for a price just slightly higher than in the shop.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Stay at Highest View Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Highest View Hotel in Kandy! The rooms were clean, tidy, and basic—perfect for what we needed. The host was amazing and made us feel so welcome, and the breakfast was absolutely lovely.
The views were stunning, and we even had a few monkey friends pop by to say hello, which was such a fun surprise! For the price, having two rooms was great value. We’d definitely recommend this as a perfect stopover in Kandy.

Stunning views

Highest view hotel in Kandy is a lovely hotel and the staff can't do enough for you. One of the best priced hotels we have stayed in so far. The views are amazing over Kandy lake and the visiting monkeys are fun to watch. The rooms have everything you need for the budget and beds are comfortable

Calm and quiet place!

Liked the location, calm and quiet place. Balcony view was breathtaking. But the room made us feel suffocated and bathroom is not up to the mark. Also no place to keep the clothes in room. Breakfast was really great. The host was helpful but a bit slow. Overall is was okay stay.

The best hotel in Srí Lanka

The best accommodation where we were in 2 months in Sri Lanka.
The owner and his team are incredibly nice people who will help you with anything and advise you with everything. Whether it's help with a scooter, restaurants or various trips. He gives various tips and tricks and warns you about the various tourist traps in the city of Kandy...and that there are a lot of them.
When we needed accommodation again in the next 2 weeks, he kept 2 rooms for us and we didn't have to deal with anything through booking.
Every morning he asks you if everything is ok and how you slept, what you have planned for today and gives you some advice. When we left, we were each presented with a bag of loose tea, which is very pleasing.
The rooms are well equipped, the water runs warm, the breakfasts are normal, and if anything doesn't suit you, they will accommodate you if possible.
I can warmly recommend the accommodation.
