Excellent food, helpful staff, clean and modern restaurant
I spent threre a beautiful night with my ex-classmates (class reunion). The organisation was excellent, staff at reception as well as waiters were helpful and kind, large and rich dishes were delicious, tableware was clean and newish, toilets were modern and clean. Smoking is prohibited in the restaurant area.

Disappointing experience
Our group paid for, and expected to receive, a continental breakfast for each of our days stay at this hotel. What we were offered, however, was plain sliced bread, cooked eggs, ketchup and juice from a carton.
A continental breakfast usually consists of a selection of fruits, ham, cheese, cereal, yogurt, pastries, tomatoes, cucumber, radishes, salami, croissants, etc.
When I mentioned that this was in no way a continental breakfast the cook informed me that the toaster was broken. He then shrugged his shoulders and walked back to the kitchen.
Of, course, a broken toaster does not mean that bread cannot be grilled, fried or baked. It also does not mean that bread rolls, rustic uncut loaves or croissants can not be provided
We were not offered any refund, compensation or even apology for what was a disappointing start to our time in what was, otherwise, a delightful stay in Serbia.

Sad so sad
The first disappointment comes when you try to find an online contact option. There isn't any advertised.
After some research and through a friend of a friend I got it: hotel@tisasenta.com should anyone ever need it.
We wanted to celebrate our anniyversary as our wedding reception was held in here 11 years ago. It turned out there isn't any reservation needed. Which is fine. Unlike the dining experience. You just don't know whether to cry or laugh upon entering the restaurant. The facade is lovely, the lobby is ok the resaturant would be also great if it wasn't for the furniture. I mean the tiling, the ceiling, the walls, the curtains are all nice. But the furniture arrangement is crazy. There's a spacious room and there were some six tables spotted around randomly. We were dressed for the ocassion thinking that the Royal is the grandest dining place of Senta. Ha ha ha. There were some tourists in shorts and flip flops so we looked rather odd. The table cloth was stained and never got changed during our stay. The menu consists of five plain A4 sheets that are stapled together. It is like you have a gemstone and you spit on it.
The food was edible but nothing extraordinary.
You are better of avoiding this place. Sad so very sad, it has all the potential and does nothing with it.

Perfectly OK - for the 1950s
The building looked like a grand old hotel from the end of the 19th century that had received a major renovation of the lobby in the 1950s, but without much attention paid to the rooms themselves. However my room and bathroom were clean, the bed was adequate, and the place was quiet. Breakfast in the spacious restaurant was good. Service was good. The staff were friendly and spoke English and Hungarian. Credit cards are accepted. If you don't know your way around this part of Serbia, this hotel would be fine for one or two nights.

Interesting experience
Where do I start... Hotel reception looked promising and nice, until we reached our rooms. First thing when we went in the room, as a heater in the middle of it, because there was no heating! There was strange smell in the room, cold bathroom (because no heating), curtains taken down from windows and used as bed covers, impossible to access the wardrobe because it was blocked by heater and armchair... One table lamp was not working, TV was showing "white noise", shower clogged.
no Wi-Fi in the rooms!!!!!! If you need any - you need to pay extra. This is not acceptable in these days...
For breakfast you can choose just one drink, so if you want a coffee and glass of water - forget about it - just one!
Hot sandwich was more like wet, oily bread with pickles on top...
