Give Belgrade a go!
All staff were very friendly and attentive throughout my stay. The hotel's location is within walking distance of the amazing St Sava and - along Kralja Milana, slightly longer - the fortress and the views over the river, particularly evocative at sunset. As top-end hotels go, I thought the price was very acceptable.
Very easy to take a day trip to Novi Sad (though the trains are at the moment running only to the station just before it. so you take a (free) bus for the last 15 minutes.
In summary, I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel and in the city

One evening, we had a very unpleasant experience with a taxi driver who suddenly demanded an unreasonable cash fare after telling us that card payment was possible. When we arrived at the hotel, Uroš immediately stepped in to help us communicate with the driver and resolve the situation.
What touched us even more was that he went far beyond what we would normally expect from hotel service. At a stressful moment in a foreign country, his calm, professional and genuinely caring attitude made us feel safe and looked after.
We met Uroš again before leaving and were very happy to finally learn his name and thank him in person.
Uroš is an outstanding ambassador for Hilton Belgrade. His kindness turned an unpleasant incident into one of our most memorable experiences in Belgrade. Thank you, Uroš!

First and foremost, thank you for choosing our hotel once again during your stay in Belgrade. We are particularly pleased to have had the opportunity to welcome you as our valued Hilton Honors Diamond Member.
I am truly sorry for the unpleasant situation you experienced in our Executive Lounge and, above all, that you left Hilton Belgrade disappointed.
I would like to clarify that, according to the lounge operating schedule, our colleague began clearing the buffet at exactly 7:30 PM, in line with the designated service hours. Following your request, she made an effort to accommodate you by returning part of the food to the buffet, with the sincere intention of addressing your needs and ensuring that you could still enjoy the evening offering.
Nevertheless, I sincerely regret that the way the situation was handled did not meet your expectations and left you with such a negative impression of our service. We always want our guests to feel genuinely welcomed and cared for, and it is disappointing to know that we did not achieve this during your visit.
We sincerely value your loyalty as a Diamond Member and are sorry that, despite our team following the established service schedule and making an additional effort to accommodate your request, our efforts did not meet your expectations or receive your approval.
