Paradise place for privacy and relaxation
They arrived in February 2025.
Opposite the apartment is the ocean, the cid is beautiful, but you can't swim there.
So I recommend renting a car and driving to the ocean, the beautiful beach.
The apartments themselves have everything you need, washing machine, toaster, microwave, kettle, dishes, refrigerator.
The apartment is large in size, the beds are 3 meters (my respect)
The host country tries very hard.
Generous and benevolent, always helpful and will respond promptly to the request.
There are mangoes that fall from huge trees in the apartments.
If there is a car there is a coffee shop nearby, which is full of deliciousness and complex lunches and dinners.
We are pleased and happy to live in this place.

Worst experience ever in Seychelles!
We have stayed 3 other hotels in Seychelles which were amazing but this one was a big disappointment. They charged all 4 days money from us even we didn't stay and refused to return it back.
When we arrived the place, we have seen a really bad place with flies and bugs everywhere, not clean apartment, bad condition kitchen supply and now windows in the rooms. It is not like the photos. When we decided to leave and ask to the property if they accept it, the receptionist accepted to refund our money back and said no problem so we left from property in 30 minutes. Then they took the full amount for 4 days via Booking and refused to return the back and not respond any of our calls.
Based on other reviews, this behaviour is their usual behaviour apparently, we suggest to look for another place and stay away from this hotel if you don't want to ruin your holiday.

Serene and calm location
Hide away is a must stay place in Praslin, Seychelles. We enjoyed our 4 nights stay here. Luckily from day 2, we were the only guests. The location of the apartment was good and just opposite the beach. The best beaches, supermarkets and jetty all are within 5/6 kms distance. We enjoyed our daily morning coffee by admiring and listening to the sea waves.
Very good hospitality and overall its best place to stay.

Old, sketchy, loud…
Seriously we travel a lot, but this is one of the worst places we’ve been to and 100% tourist trap as it’s really too pricey for what you get. When we came here the place was dirty, especially under the bed and in the kitchen, guess no one really cleaned up properly ever since a long time. At least the managing staff are very nice and try their best to make the guests happy. So they cleaned up again and brought us freshly picked fruit from the garden. The property itself looks nice, the apartments are old and sketchy, besides the new big matrices in the bedroom. There is not much equipment in the kitchen to cook unfortunately. Also in one of the apartments TV and warm water isn’t working and not fixable. The area is sketchy, a lot of half homeless locals around the beach who drink and play loud music every night. The neighbors have their subwoofer right next to the apartments and play loud music literally EVERY single night. It is really a nightmare to stay in this place. The real owners don’t live here by themselves and they seem to not believe or understand (we also read a lot of similar reviews and the owner seemed to deny in every answer on the web instead of improve his hosting service. They told us these are other tourists who make party on the island. Funny, I’ve never seen any tourist traveling with subwoofers and looking like locals. But the staff told us it’s true, a lot of their guests including themselves were really annoyed and they asked the neighbors to be quiet several times but they simply didn’t care.
Honestly, I’d not recommend to come here or even to Seychelles if your looking for a relaxed and quiet vacation or natural paradise. It simply isn’t unfortunately. It’s just a few overrated party islands and I guess it was also our own mistake that we haven’t informed ourselves better. In this case, the Maldives are the better choice indeed…

Excellent stay
Well situated, well appointed, super friendly staff.
Spacious bungalow,cleaned daily. Room 1 has the best views, however all rooms have a sea view from the terrace.
My only negative comment would be that the kitchen utensils provided could be improved upon....small chopping knife, tin opener, scissors and medium sized bowls were all lacking.
The beach opposite is very nice,the sunset was beautiful. Anse Volbert( a 20min walk away) is fantastic.
We would happily return to Hideaway.
