Excellent idyllic place to stay

Exceptionally welcoming host! Highly recommend! Very informative of how to get there via driving instructions. We stayed here due to taking on the 3 peaks challenge, the host Rachel couldn't do enough for us and made us feel very welcome, safe and comfortable
Very clean facilities
Nice little touches in the bathroom providing shower gels/bubble bath.
Such an idyllic spot.
And theres even a very friendly furry host, Reggie the dog

The fresh air and scenic views!

“Absolutely loved our stay! The location is truly breathtaking—peaceful, secluded, and surrounded by stunning mountain views. Old Ing is the perfect place for a break, it's absolutely beautiful. Quiet, peaceful and surrounded by stunning countryside. Rachel (the host) and Reggie the dog are welcoming and warm, making it an ideal retreat for anyone looking for inspiration, a bit of walking or some time away to recharge.

Old Ing is a beautiful house, in a beautiful setting! The house is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding countryside; we enjoyed a lovely walk along the river and through the hills.. The setting is so peaceful and serene (aside from the bleeting of sweet little lambs!).
The inside of the house is tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork. We stayed in the double bedroom, and the bed was extremely comfy! You can even see stars right through the skylight from the bed! The house is well set-up and makes the perfect base for exploring the surrounds.
The host was very hospitable and friendly - we were pleased to sample some of her delicious home-baked goods!

A real gem of a hideaway

If you’re looking to truly escape, this peaceful retreat in the Yorkshire Dales is perfect. Nestled in a remote spot with stunning views, it’s the ideal base for exploring the Three Peaks or just enjoying the stillness of nature at any time of year. The train station is fairly close by, so it’s surprisingly accessible despite feeling completely off the grid. Cozy, clean, and beautifully tucked away – we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend for walkers, writers, and anyone needing a proper breather.
