An Oasis in a dirty and unfriendly city.

There were police with machine guns in the hotel foyer and the driveway of the hotel. We took a taxi to the supermarket, which was approximately 500 metres from the hotel, as advised by the hotel staff. All but the last night of our stay was comfortable. A very rowdy couple was checking into the room to the right of us (we were room 534) at 11.45p.m. They were with a hotel porter, and we asked them to be quiet. The guests became abusive and exclaimed that they were platinum members. Maybe the hotel should issue polite notices to guests and the accompanying porters that people may be sleeping at 11.45p.m. Also, they should advise such platinum members that their loyalty status does not entitle them to a free run off the house. We were shocked that the porter allowed them to make so much noise right in front of our door. He needs some serious retraining. Apparently, this hotel is in a safe area, but we would avoid this city, and we do not recommend staying unless you must.

A worthy stay

A great experience starts from the entrance, and we were greeted by warm smiles and seamless check-in. Special shout out to Oscar for the assistance with the reservation and Terry for delivering exceptionally on the special requests in the room. The variety of meals, smiles from the staff , clean rooms and affordable rates has won us over and we will be back. Thank you :)

Clean rooms, friendly staff, great security. Their meals are a little expensive.
