Utter Tranquility
Amaria would suit whether you are active or just want to chill out. It’s located right on the famous Fisherman’s trail, one of the many hiking options nearby. There are several beaches a short drive away, there’s also a lovely option to go for a stunning cliff top hike to Odeceixe beach (takes just over an hour). Or you can just stay put! There are plenty of shared spaces to just relax and not leave the whole stay, including a pool and a sauna with a view!
The service is truly outstanding. Friendly and warm, attentive without “hovering”. Sam and Ash were so helpful, always on hand to answer a question or help with a request. The owners were so welcoming and nice to chat with, it’s obvious they are constantly taking care of the details to make sure your stay is as comfortable and smooth as possible. So much attention was placed on everything!
Breakfast was a generous spread, as healthy or indulgent as you choose. It was a great option to dine in for dinner and just relax, everything was delicious! We really enjoyed hearing from the chef about the local suppliers and the various sources for the ingredients. It’s also possible to request for a light meal to have at your patio. We had so much fun with the “flaming chorizo” and delicious freshly baked bread - literally still warm from the oven!

Big thanks to Phoebe ( for the delicious dinners and breakfasts) , Nuno for all good tipps for visits and the whole team making us feel at home for one week of which we will keep great memories!

Peaceful, beautiful, bliss!
Beautifuly designed, away from it all and close to amazing beaches and very good restaurants.
The owners were most welcoming and made you feel at home.
There is a stunning garden that makes you feel as if you are in the middle of the countryside, a beautiful pool, different areas to relax and the overall feeling is of peace and comfort.
The food was delicious, breakfast superb, the cakes available all day too tempting, the bed so comfortable. There is so much attention to detail!
I cant wait to go back.
