To flee! practice overbooking

Attention Hotel to flee!!!
We had a booking reservation which was confirmed by email and when we arrived at the hotel (after paying for parking on the street so-called free according to the information on booking) we had the unpleasant surprise of not having a room on arrival. Saying we had booked too much at the last minute and the hotel was full.
When we rechecked the hotel still had 2 availability. He therefore practices overbooking and does not ensure security regarding his accommodation offer on booking.com
And if that was not enough we received an email 2 days later to tell us that we had not honored our reservation with risk of compensation to pay.
I advise against without hesitation

They are not worth missing staff and abused

Lousy service in everything from reception to food they even give treat and abuse their staff of the same company..
They treat them badly and exploit them I have won because I stay there for several days..
I would never go back to that hotel... lousy everything.

Cancelled our booking on arrival!

We booked this place a couple of months ago through booking.com. We arrived Easter weekend being told that Paracas would be completely booked up. We got to the hotel and they refused to admit our booking. We showed our voucher and they said they had cancelled it 2 weeks before. We had had no notification from booking.com.
The reception refused any kind of help and frankly didn’t care.
30mins later when we were in a hostel room (found for us by Peru Hop) we got an email from booking.com saying this hotel had cancelled our booking- so they obviously cancelled it after we’d left. As Paracas was so busy they had obviously got a longer booking and cancelled our one night. Possibly leaving us without a room for the night.

Not Impressed

Luckily it was for only one night but if you can avoid it i would. So we got in hoping to finally get a good nights sleep after being on a bus for 2 days straight. After checking reviews we thought it was a quiet area with low traffic but we were wrong. Now i wont blame the hotel fully but it was just a bummer that a massive concert was right outside this place and it wouldnt be over until 3 am. We were so tired and so bummed. If I hadn't taken 4 melatonin I probably would of never slept. We were in the shower and heard the balcony windows shaking because of the loud music outside the building. The shower had no hot water so we both had to take cold showers. When we went downstairs to ask to be moved they didnt understand and really had no desire to help us in moving rooms. The shower curtain was held on by tape and the bathroom itself was pretty raggedy at best. If you can avoid it i would but dont let this review dampen the entire stay. If the hotel was better insulated or we didnt have the concert 20 ft outside our window it would have been a much better experience

basic

for one night it's ok, bring your mask because curtains are too thin to provide enough darkness in the early morning. breakfast is really basic quiet symbolic.
But rooms are clean and bed comfy enough. it can be noisy on week-end nights.
