good for short stop

We stayed here for cristmast day, me and my girlfriend
pros:
- 24hour reception speaking in English
- room quite large and very clean
- low price
- terrace on the roof with a good view
- personnel very kind
cons:
position; it's not an actual con but the hotel is really on the border between the downtown area and the Rimac district (that is a little unsafe). I don't suggest to take an hotel farer than this one from the center. Probably we shouldn't have had problems but to be sure we came back to the hotel not too late in the night.

Thank you Andrea for your comments. It is so nice to hear a lot of pros in your comments! Our Location is one of the advantages, but as you say we are on the middle of the capital of Lima and it is like in others capitals we recommend always to our guests to avoid risky situations. If you make that can enjoy the multiple advantages of our location. You can visit just walking the main touristic attractions of the Lima historic center. Good accomodation but unsafe location

The accomodation, staff and facilities were fine but this is not in a safe area of Lima. The accomodation itself is secure with two security gates so we felt safe inside but solo or female travellers should be careful in this area.

Basic accommodation close to the center

Very basic accommodation close to the center. The area is a bit sketchy and is not completely safe especially at night. The hotel has a gate and reception works 24/7 but one have to ring a bell to get inside and everyone can hear it because the walls are thin. The rooms are very basic, even for a relatively low price. Personal is very attentive and helpful, though. I’m sum, I would recommend to stay here only if one need to be close to the old center.

Charming staff, great breakfast, good location

Staff is charming, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast served on the terrace is a great value ($3 per person): fruit, juice, coffee or tea, eggs, bread, butter and jam. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Terrace is a nice common area. The only negative would be that the rooms circle around a stairwell, so if you are noise sensitive, you may hear noise as guests come and go.

Great location

I stayed here for three nights with friends and it's high point is its truly central location. Walking distance to the President palace and main plaza of Lima. Around 30 min drive from airport or main bus terminus. Staff is nice. Wifi isn't that good in the rooms. Rooms are otherwise cozy.
