Lots of space the hang out. The beds were comfortable but the room was on the small side. Overall I’d stay here again!

Saqray Hostel is the best!!!

"Saqray hostel" is magnificent!
Everything is very clean and tidy, hot showers, very delicious breakfasts, nice rooms, 24-hour reception, I have always met nice people, and above all...
AN EXCEPTIONAL STAFF!
Very available and friendly, they have given me many tips for visiting Cusco, without them my trip would be more boring and more difficult!
Seriously, the best staff you can find! You feel like home!

Pretty much perfect accommodation in Cusco!

While using Cusco as a base for adventurous treks in the region, my travel partner and I stayed in a couple of different rooms and were absolutely thrilled with everything about our cosy new home away from home! We stayed in private rooms that were spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, with nice shared showers just steps away. The front desk staff was super professional, friendly, and helpful, even helping me call local restaurants when I realized I had lost something. I believe they were available 24/7 - certainly late at night and very early in the morning. The location was great - a short walk away from the Plaza des Armas, close enough to be convenient but far enough to be quieter, and it certainly felt secure. The breakfast was simple but tasty. We were also able to store our luggage while away on treks. All of this was for an excellent price, too!
If you're looking for a "social" hostel vibe, look elsewhere - but for our style, this was perfect! It stands out as one of my very favorite places I've stayed while traveling.

Very good service, even when we left really early they made sure we were well taken care off and made us breakfast to go. The internet WiFi was great, and the rooms were cleaned daily and comfortable.

Awesome hostel with super friendly owners!

My friends and I stayed in this hostel for 2 weeks while doing Salkantayw trek. It is a very nice and cozy hostel which we had great time resting without doing anything much after the trekking. The location is great near the center Plaza de Armas and also San Cristobal church, only to walk a little uphill. The common area is comfortable to stay and do our own things even to read. The room and beds are very comfortable and warm with thick blanket as the temperature can get cold at night. There is also curtain for each bed for a little privacy in the dorm and one power outlet and light at each bed too. Each bed has a locker to put our things and also a small compartment at the end of bed to put small stuffs.
The only thing lacking is a few hangers in the room and bathroom will be great. The toilet and bathroom are clean with hot showers. The breakfast is decent with bread, butter, jam, yogurt, cereal, juice and fruits but the same everyday. The owners of the hostel, Jorge and Martina whom are a couple, are super friendly and go beyond to assist and help you whenever they can. This is also one of the reasons we decided to extend our stay here other than the comfort we had throughout the stay. I was sick the first day we checked in and Martina checked on me to see if I needed anything while both my friends were out. On our check out day, both my friends were sick and they agreed to allow them to stay longer in the dorm past check out time without charges.
This is truly hospitality service which not everyone can do, all the while we travelled around South America and stayed in different hostels. We love their service and their hospitality and highly recommend this hostel to anyone who will be coming to Cusco to stay here! Thank you so much for everything, Jorge and Martina! If we return to Cusco one day, we will definitely stay here again!!
