Excellent location and beautiful place to stay.

What a beautiful building and in the most central location walkable to everything you'd want to see and so in Cusco. It is right across the street from the San Pedro market. The staff were also accommodating with packing us a lunch for our early morning hiking departure.

Close by to many attractions and the city center. Easy to walk to. Affordable laundry service that delivers to the hotel just around the corner.

Good spacious property in the heart of Cusco

Great staff, clean and spacious rooms and good facilities. We stayed at this hotel twice in our 7 days trip to Cusco. Starting from airport pickup to drop everything went very smooth.
We had to leave our luggage at the hotel when we left for our Machu Pichu hike and another activity. The staff was available 24*7 to help us with our luggage.
I particularly liked their garden and spaces to relax.

The nome monastério e a construção deservem melhor hotel gestão

The name “Monastery” is not reflected in the attention of the reception. The deal was cold and uncordial from the start; we expected another energy. The historic building of the old monastery is undoubtedly the most beautiful thing about the hotel. The room is correct and the bed is good.
However, the bathroom was a big problem. We spent a night without Wi-Fi and shower, which forced us to change rooms. Shower operation is very bad.
In addition, we were trapped in Machu Picchu due to a tragic accident that made news in media around the world and completely paralyzed the railways. During the night we spent more than 12 hours standing and, in total, we went virtually 24 hours without sleep, between the train and the bus transfer here.
When requesting late check-out we explained this situation in detail, but still the hotel showed zero empathy and wanted to charge us $90 for only four additional hours. For this reason, we decided to leave the hotel and advance our flight.
As an additional point, in front of the hotel there is a very large fairground market and, next door, there are usually many people sitting on the stairs, which affects the quiet feeling of the place.
The only bright spot in the service was the lady who waited at the cafe, the only really friendly person on the staff.
Unfortunately, it is not an experience we would recommend.
