A great hotel that looks after you properly
We traveled as a group of three, a couple and a friend, and stayed in a King Room with a mountain view. The room's layout was excellent, arranged over two floors, with one of the beds on a mezzanine. It was spotlessly clean throughout and had everything we needed: a kettle, a hairdryer, a TV, and Wi-Fi.
The hotel is a short walk from the main square in Cusco, on a steep hill, though to be fair, everything in Cusco is on a hill.
We arrived via an Uber we booked ourselves, but for the return trip to the airport, the hotel arranged a taxi for us at a cost of $25.
We spent five days away on the trek, and the hotel stored our luggage at no charge the whole time. We simply left our bags in the room when we set off, and on our return they'd been moved back in for us. That small detail really summed up the hotel: the service was excellent throughout, and nothing was too much trouble.
Part of the hotel houses a pizza restaurant that claims to serve the best pizza in town. I can't vouch for that claim, but the pizzas are very good.
A nice touch was the breakfast options, you could either eat in the restaurant or have them prepare a packed breakfast if you were leaving early. This was genuinely useful since most Cusco tours seem to start very early.
The sit-down breakfast was lovely, and they catered for a gluten-intolerant member of our group without any issue. There is a buffet to select from, and they will cook various options for you including: scrambled eggs, doughnuts (which could be gluten free).
In summary, this is a great hotel, I would recommend.
