Good Quiet Place and Fits Tight Budget
I was scared coming here when a friend recommended the place for me and my family to spend the Christmas holidays, after reading the only review I could find below. I arrived towards the evening and checking in wasn't a problem. We took a suite and an adjacent room. Both were self catering. Settling down to have our bath was a big challenge as hot water wasn't flowing or the pressure was too low. We had to boil water with the electric kettle to have our bath. The staff were really polite and assisted us in every way possible to sort out the plumbing issues, settle us down and make ourselves comfortable. Many thanks to Abu and Matthew. We had a very comfortable night rest thereafter. The beds were very comfortable with clean bed sheets and duvet. The rooms smells fresh, the a/cs were supper quiet and chilling. The built and finishing were modern, clean and neat. The bathrooms and toilets were very clean. The surrounding was neat though small, while the hotel is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood that is easily accessible to plenty eateries, supermarkets and banks. Infact you can easily access other parts of Lagos from here. Light was virtually constant with few power outages that was adequately taken care of by the hotel's standby generators immediately. Though the rooms were self catering, the hotel needs to do more in the provision of brand new or clean kitchen utensils, in addition to working on the water supply pressure. These i have told the above staff. There is a small pool with a gym which we did not use because the space only allowed for only one thread mill machine. Overall, we had a nice stay and really felt at home. I would recommend this place to anyone who want to have a quiet and comfortable hotel around V.I, Lagos.

If you have anything to do on the Island, yes you can manage here. The staff are rude and condescending, however the bar man not sure his name was decent. No hot water in the morning, had to beg them to get water. They took so much time bringing toiletries. If you are used to managing then this place is decent, if you require a good value for your money, then avoid it. If you are desperate for a place then you can manage otherwise just avoid.
