A thoughtfully designed space with a refined rustic-industrial character. Natural materials like timber, brick, and steel are used with restraint, creating a warm and cohesive atmosphere. The custom furnishings and subtle detailing—especially the lighting and built-in braai—add both function and character. A calm, well-composed environment that feels intentional and comfortable.

Holiday
De Baken is great. I would highly recommend it. My family and I had everything that we needed. Coenita was a great host and made sure we are comfortable. The staff are friendly and always ready to assist. The rooms are modern, cleaned everyday and look very nice. The accommodation is close to shops and restaurants and very close to the Lagoon. I am definitely coming back again. Love it!

Absolutely Fabulous
Cannot say enough about the De Baken
From the booking procedure and communication to arrival flawless.
The architecture is amazing and the entire place just makes it feel special.
The best thing for us travelling is that they are Pet Friendly, our GSD was right at home and was able to relax and not be on guard at all times. The braai area was her favorite place to be.
Housekeeping and Reception 11/10 if you need a number.

Very good choice for a shorter or longer stay, very comfortable and very friendly staff
