Great location and value
We were on the street side and were not bothered by the noise.
The restaurant on the bottom floor is very good and reasonably priced.
Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Mexico city.

Good hotel!
The reception staff were not nice neither were they rude. It has a restaurant but I don't know how good is the food, didn't order anything.
Our room was small but was very clean, tje bathroom was super clean and it smelled nice. I didn't like that my room had huge mirrors as wall (don't know if all the rooms had them), I would't know if they were spying on me... lol
I LOVED that the hotel had ice, I love cold beverages, I hate drinking lukewarm water and sodas.
I would stay here again and I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a good location and not expensive hotel!

Think You Cannot Stay in CDMX for About $40 USD?

This was my seventh stay at Fleming , dating back over more than ten years
Front desk (recepción) nowadays asks if you'd prefer street-side or interior
Take interior
Street-side can be a bit racouous (sp?), so hunker down inside...
Restaurant on-site
Secure taxi on-call
Take Amex
After maybe 10,000 miles by camión/bus, and 7,000 or so in my own vehículos, Fleming plus a hot-rack business apartment in Coyoacán, Hotel Fleming is my go-to choice in México
Consider making it yours, too

Still worth staying
Beng slightly on the edge of the central historical district does mean having to walk slightly further to town, but no matter how many times I've done that it has never palled.
The hotel restaurant isn't very exciting but offers an inexpensive option to hand (the breakfasts do the job). There are some good eating options within a few blocks so walking at night isn't really a problem.
During our visit in December we did find the restaurant a bit noisy on occasion, given somewhat ill-disciplined children - I suppose this just happens!
And lastly, the rooms remain comfortable and clean with decent bathroom facilities - what more does one really need?
