Very spacious and clean. Very friendly service.

Everything was very clean, when we arrived it seemed like a bare area, but it is the center of the new area of Fez. They treated us very well, very friendly at all times. Very large rooms. There are several pillows, they are quite voluminous and can be a problem for someone with cervical problems, but it is highly recommended. Arrival was after 12 at night and they were waiting for us with a smile, they helped us at all times to locate anything we needed: ATMs, taxis, printers...

Comfortable stay

Stayed here 2 nights hotel is easy to find and on site parking which is a bonus
Not many people staying so it had a cold feeling about it in season it would probably be different
Breakfast is simple but adequate and are is safe

Stay away from this place

I would give 0 stars if I could. The manager/receptionist woman who says she is not the owner (but I believe she is) is unfriendly. If she is not the owner, she clearly doesn't want to be there. She overcharged us 25% of the reservation price (saying it was a tax). So called breakfast there is literally unfrozen bread and butter, pieces of cut cucumber and a coffee and maybe some jams. It is not a walking distance from Medina though taxis are cheap. Had to wait for hours after check-in for a technician to come to fix the heat in the room. She pretended that an old TV is working but it was not. There is no phone in the room. WIFI only works in the "lobby" and is also slow. I can go on and on. There are two other women, however, that work hard to keep it relatively clean and they are friendly too.
Our originally booked hotel canceled our reservation (due to the "overbooking mistake") 2 days prior to our departure for Morocco. Since it was a high tourist season, nothing else was available except this riad (which was already suspicious).
We are determined to get our money (overcharge) back and also reported fraud to the government of Morocco.

Would NOT Stay Here Again!

We got a room right behind the reception, next to the kitchen and part of the main corridor. And oh boy was it noisy. We requested for a room change as we were staying 2 nights, but got no help.
We couldn’t sleep all night! Late night checkins were very noisy and the staff did not realise there are people sleeping right behind them.
The morning was also miserable as there was music playing from 6am and the noise of people walking around was way too loud.

Spacious property and rooms

This hotel was a lovely change of pace after staying in Moroccan medinas. There was a large courtyard and a large patio. Ilham was a fantastic hostess. It was very cold when I was there in January and the heat worked very well. I was very happy to have a safe place to park my car.
