Top birthday in Malta!
A fantastic boutique hotel! Elegant rooms, beautiful and finished with great taste. Hospitality is the real strong point: a special thank you to Eric for his extraordinary welcome and for the constant pampering he provided us throughout our stay. We came for my husband's birthday and upon our arrival they had a note and prosecco waiting for us, and I recommend breakfast on the terrace with a spectacular view. A 5-star experience from every point of view, highly recommended!

Old world charm with modern touches
A charming and comfortable boutique hotel in the heart of Senglea. It was my first time to the island, so I was not really knowledgeable about the city and the surrounding areas. This is not in the center of action, and is away from the noise and crowds of Valletta and the cruise ships. It is easy to catch a ferry over to Valletta to enjoy all the tourist sites but if you want peace and quiet and a friendly place to stay, this is the place. I will say that it is a bit of a walk to the ferry station, and a lot of stairs are involved (as will be the case in any location on the island!). There are stunning views from the rooftop. Breakfast was plentiful and a perfect start to the day. The owners and staff are on hand and are friendly and helpful and clearly take pride in offering the best stay for their guests. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again should I find myself back in Malta!
I rented a car for two days and there is street parking to be found in the area, but I was a few blocks away and I am fortunately an excellent parallel parker! It was also very easy to get a rideshare from the airport and back to the airport when I went to pick up my car.

Perfect Little Hotel
I can’t recommend this beautiful, small hotel highly enough ! Michael and Eric have created a gem and their staff enhance it. The warmth we received from the moment we arrived to when we departed was genuine and heartwarming. Our room was stunning and the bed so comfortable, the bathroom outstanding and the whole place spotless. It also has first class air conditioning which was much needed in July! The breakfast offered was delicious and plentiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our morning chats where we discovered so much about Malta. Thank you to Michael, Eric, Nitheesh and Frances for looking after us so well, we had the best time exploring Malta and it was wonderful to come back to Senglea and the oasis you have created in the evening.

Comfort, Care and Convenience? You'll get it here :)
It is rarely that comfort, style, practicality and friendliness come together into such an attractive package, but Eric, Michael, Nateesh and the lovely breakfast room ladies have created exactly this, presenting an oasis in the quieter part of Valetta . We loved every minute there, from the rooftop breakfasts to the giant, comfortable beds, to the minute attention to detail, such as providing a shoehorn in the wardrobe, daily water to the room, the lift, the brightness of the interior of the staircase and building due to intelligent use of architecture, it was all top class. We hear they are expanding with extra rooms and a rooftop pool, also! In many trips abroad and at home, I have no hesitation in assigning a 5/5 stars to Senglia Suites, and hope to revisit when the work is done. Great work, all, and thanks!

Having travelled to Malta on numerous occasions over the years, this was my first time staying in Senglea due to my involvement with the fashion show taking place nearby. What I hadn't expected was to discover one of Malta's most captivating and underrated destinations.
Senglea is a city that feels untouched by time — elegant, authentic, and rich in history. With its breathtaking views across the Grand Harbour, charming streets, and unmistakable Mediterranean character, it quickly became one of my favourite cities on the island.
Perfectly positioned within this remarkable setting, Senglea Suites embodies everything one hopes to find in a luxury boutique property: understated elegance, thoughtful design, and impeccable hospitality.
The room itself was exceptionally spacious, beautifully appointed, and wonderfully cosy — a rare combination that immediately makes you feel at home while still delivering the sense of occasion expected from a luxury stay. Every detail felt intentional, from the comfort of the furnishings to the calm and inviting atmosphere that awaited after long days of meetings, fittings, and event preparations.
Yet what truly elevates Senglea Suites beyond simply being a beautiful hotel are the people behind it.
Mike and Eric have mastered the art of hospitality. Their warmth, generosity, professionalism, and genuine care for their guests transform the experience from exceptional to unforgettable. They have created something increasingly rare in modern travel — a place where guests are not simply accommodated, but truly welcomed.
Equally deserving of recognition is the wonderful team whose kindness, attentiveness, and effortless professionalism reflect the same standards of excellence throughout the property. Every interaction was met with a smile, every request handled with care, and every detail considered.

True luxury, however, is feeling valued.
Feeling relaxed.
