Ideal location for all the local amenities.
We stayed here twice, the first overnight in a Standard room and the second for 3 nights in a Studio Apartment.
After 2 days of travelling this was a quick stop over before our adventure began in Sabah. The room was very tight and not a lot of room for us and our luggage, but it was manageable as we only had one night here and all we wanted was a bed for our heads and a shower to freshen up. It met both of those points and we have no complaints. TV in the room if you feel the need.
Location wise it is great. You have a McDonalds around the corner for those of you with kids and ideal for a European style coffee. It is quite literally surrounded by 3/4 shopping malls all within 15 - 20 minutes walk. It's a 5 minute walk to the waterfront where the more popular bars and restaurant's are located, but you are spoilt for choice on the foodie options on most streets.
You get free WIFI in the rooms but not the studios.
Our stay in the studio was a great option on our return. You get a kitchen and cooking facilities, and a lot more room to spread out all your suitcases. The beds are comfortable and again you have access to all the local amenities listed above. Again a TV in the room if you feel the need.

Wonderful stay
The best thing about this apartment is Betty the owner. She is kind and caring and so friendly. As a solo traveller I was a bit worried about staying in town. When I've been to Borneo previously I've stayed in some of the grander hotels on the island. I needn't have worried. Betty pointed out the best places to eat and shop. She even gave me fresh mangosteen for breakfast and had some rabbit and delivered to my room. She made sure I had everything I needed and swapped my pillows to lovely soft ones before I got there. The room is on the first floor over the shops and can be quite noisy so bring earplugs. It's clean and tidy with a big soft bed and amazing air con brrrrrr. There was bottled water in my room and the shower was always hot. Betty also has a convenience store downstairs so easy to get more water etc. It's about a 4 minute walk from the api api to the waterfront bars and restaurants and 2 minutes to the centre point shopping complex. If you want a base for roaming on your travels you couldn't do better for the money than here.

Excellent base, fantastic hostess.
Firstly if you're expecting or wanting a hotel, this is not for you.(The rooms are compact and some have no windows; however all have air conditioning) We wanted a suitable base for our travels over the Sabah region and were extremely pleased with our choice. On arriving we were a little apprehensive as it's location is within an open shopping mall, however Betty the owner was a breath of fresh air. The room was very clean, compact and we received clean towels and linen every day(despite being a guest house). Betty treated us to goodies in the form of fresh local fruits and foods nearly every day. We've never met such a friendly, caring and knowledgeable hostess. She advised us on where to go, what to do and who to be aware of. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone to stay here and use as a base.

Very clean and price very resonable
The furnish is very good and the hotel is new. Transport also not a problem. Lots of Restaurant and shopping centre nearby. Price is reasonable. Will be back there on my next visit. Highly recommended for budget traveller. Can reach there by Public transport, very convenient.

前几天我订酒店时，展现出来的照片都是假的（现在照片才是真实的），照片里面看上去高大上的楼房，所以才下订单。到现场实际上就是街边小平房二层。房间小环境差都没关系，关键老板不诚信。虽然还照片环境不一样，我还是让老板带我去房间看一下。房间很小很简陋，一张床铺一个床头柜就没什么空间了。我说房间太小要取消订单，老板还很客气说没关系，走时我还一直道谢。后面携程联系我说老板同意取消，但是要有偿取消需要扣费。最后携程沟通商量不下来，由携程来退款给我。很不愉快的经历。第一次花这么多时间认真评论，希望大家不要踩坑。
