Excellent short stay!

The Entrance to the hotel was a bit confusing at first. Once I have entered the receptionist name of ‘Inga” have been welcoming and helpful to find where everything is located. The room it’s self was big and spacious with nice comfortable bed for this price i can’t complain.

They entered the room more times a day,

The Hotel was cheap , but it gave the impression of being unsafe. Although nothing was stealed (as far as we´ve noticed) they entered the room more times a day, I know that because I specially turn the keys twice to lock the door and every time I came back it was locked only once meaning that someone has entered the room. There was no service room, the towels weren´t changed and nothing has been changed... I don´t know why they entered the room so many times. I didn´t feel safe there. The beds were not the best, but you could sleep.

Great spot - very central!

I spent one night in this hostel. It was a very nice and clean room for around 30€. Also the girl at the reception was very nice. We played card games for almost the whole night ;)
Another big plus is its central location in between many nice restaurants and cafés.

Good location, nice staff

The hotel is located in an old building. They bought some apartments and turned them into rooms. They are new, very quiet and superclean.
Near the hotel you can find 2 supermarkets, some restaurants and bars.
The staff is very nice and helpful whatever you need. WiFi very fast.
Highly recommended, high value for money.

Very good hotel for its price!

+ The hotel is very cheap (23 euro per single room with private facilities without breakfast) and for its price it is very good.
+ The room was warm, clean with free wi-fi and good light (and it’s rarity in the hotels all over the world!)
+ The bathroom was spacious and comfortable.
+ The hotel is situated in the nice district, not in the old city but not far from it – 20 min by foot, 3 stops by tram or 5 euro on the taxi (but you should bargain!).
+ Receptionists are very helpful. They were waited for me till the midnight although reception is closed from 10 PM and on the next day they have explained me everything about city transport.
- There was a strange smell in the room, very old towels and poor noise isolation (I have sent all rustles of my neighborhoods and I was afraid to disturb them with a hair-drier at the midnight).
- The shower wasn’t comfortable cause it was situated above the head so you will have wet hairs every time when you will take a shower.
- The hotel is some flats on the 3d-4th floor of the building and there is no lift, so you should bring your luggage by yourself.
- The doors in the flat-reception and in the flat with my room were very heavy and they closed very quickly which is extremely uncomfortable if you move with a luggage (I had 2 bruises!).
- Not all receptionists speak russian well (although there were a lot of russian tourists in Riga) and I didn’t like that I had to pay for the room before I have seen it.
- The breakfast costed 5 euro per person and it is too expensive for Riga so I have prefered not to book it.
