24-hour hot spring baths and in-room dining

All the staff were very polite and helpful. Since we were staying with children, we had breakfast and dinner in our room, which was very convenient.
The price was also very reasonable and the cost performance was good.
I also thought it was great that the large public bath was available 24 hours a day. This is an inn that I would like to stay at again.

Friendly and economical

So pleased to find a reasonable hot spring hotel! Food was delicious and the service was excellent and cheerful. We were so impressed. The water was also very clean. The visit left us refreshed and ready to face another week.

酒店就在bus站旁边，房间大、餐食质量好，温泉水也不错，性价比较高的温泉酒店。

館内WiFiさえあれば満点。

「部屋食」「お風呂貸し切り」ができるところがよかったので、ここを選びました。予約したときに、夜行バスで移動した後に宿泊する予定だったので、「チェックインしてすぐにお風呂を貸し切りで使わせてもらえるか」と記載しておいたのですが、回答なし。結局チェックイン前に入りたくなって、別料金「日帰り」で岩風呂に入ったら、ひとりで貸し切り状態でした。チェックイン後もどうやらこの日はお客さんは私ひとり。今度はかけ流しのお風呂を独占しました。なんだーお願いしなくとも、結局貸し切りだったなーと思っていたら、フロントから連絡があり、次は風呂桶の温泉を利用させてもらいました。一人旅なので朝・夕部屋食はありがたかったです。お食事は写真のとおり。お若い中居さんに親切にしていただきました。チェックイン前・チェックアウト後にも荷物を預かっていただいて、助かりました。「さいち」もコンビニも近くて便利。また行くかも。

大きな旅館に囲まれたこじんまりした旅館

秋保温泉街の大きな旅館に囲まれたこじんまりした旅館。敷地に駐車スペースがないのか少し離れた駐車場（広場？）に案内された。旅館のスタッフが駐車場まで持って行ってくれるのが普通だが、まったり温泉旅館を楽しもうと思っていただけにちょっと水を差された感じだった。
通された部屋は、古い八畳ほどの和室。古いのはいいが見た目の清潔感が微妙だった。窓を開けると左勘が見えるのはご愛嬌。
食事は国産牛ステーキとはズワイカニがお好みで選べるプランの部屋食。価格設定上、品数が少なく豪華ではないがそこそこ美味しくいただいた。
貸切風呂は小さな湯殿に無理やり湯船を押し込んだ感じで、貸切特有の開放感やのんびり感はほとんどなかった。期待していただけにちょっと残念。露天風呂と内風呂は男女交互。露天風呂のあるゾーンは改装したのだろう造りが新しい。
どこの温泉街もそうだが、小さな旅館はかなり経営的に厳しく買収されたり廃業するケースが多く見られる。大手が客を囲い込む図式の上コロナ禍とあっては厳しさもわかるが、小さな旅館ならではの特徴のある独自の在り方をもう少し工夫して欲しいものだ。
