B&b Prosperina

Arrived at the 4th stage of Sicily Devide we are staying in this B&b in the center of Enna. Excellent accommodation. The owner greeted us cordially and immediately thought of getting our bikes safely set up and accompanied us to the room helping us carry our luggage. Nothing was missing in the room, not even the clothesline as the location is in the old town and you can not hang things on the windowsill of the balcony. Even this location with attention to detail as their restaurant. Exceptional breakfast with sweet and savory and orange jams made by them.
Highly recommended. Thanks for the welcome and for everything.

Pretty awful stay in Enna. The host would not let us check-in until 3pm, which I understand is the check-in time, but everywhere else in Sicily they allowed for a check-in at least an hour early, if not a few hours earlier. It was obvious we had traveled a long way on a hot and sweaty bus, but no, we couldn't check-in early. It is not as if the two rooms were spectacular or needed major cleaning, since the rooms are super basic, smell bad, and offer the cheapest pillows, sheets, and blankets. On top of this, the room was super super hot! The host is so cheap that he didn't turn on the AC to cool down the room, despite the 85 degree temp. Speaking of AC, if you rent the room on the second floor, the AC DOES NOT WORK and when I called the host, he said the remote control was in the room. It was not. The AC turned on via a light switch, but would only blow semi-cold air sporadically, so it was terribly hot. My friend's room on the third floor had excellent AC. So, if you must stay at this awful place, get the room on third floor. BTW- the host's wife got on the phone to yell at me in Italian and told me to open the window as a solution to the AC problem. The breakfast consists of day or two day old pastries they didn't sell at their overpriced restaurant. They'll try to get you to go to their restaurant. Their breakfast is overpriced at 7 euros for stale food. Overall, Enna is not a welcoming place. It's hot and dirty and the people don't want you there.

We had aa wonderful time staff was very helpful, breakfast was fresh and delicious. Coffe was served fresh the way you want it!
The location is a perfect spot to enjoy a home base while you explore all the attractions of Enna.

In the center of Enna.

Located practically in the center of Enna, it allows you to visit on foot the main attractions of the city. Clean and functional room. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. In the immediate vicinity excellent bistro Paradiso, full of atmosphere and excellent cuisine.

A little more attention to the guest

Beautiful historic structure in the center.
Small but functional room.
Ditto for the bathroom, without bidet but with window.
Super breakfast, moreover in a beautiful environment, a bit crowded.
One star less because:
1) too many prohibitions welcome you, including one nonsense, for a structure hyper-marked to cyclists: the prohibition of washing clothes, which is necessary for those traveling by bicycle.
2) the manager accoglendomi, exhausted by the climb leading to Enna, the only one so far in Sicily, did not offer to bring even a bottle, taking care instead to promote the family restaurant.
3) Improveable internal and external soundproofing.
