Wonderful front desk experience. Absolutely delicious breakfast. Love the walk-in shower. Very quiet at night. Fun and funky I would stay here again.

Such a perfect stay!

Absolutely lovely and central to many restaurants, pubs and shops. The staff is absolutely tremendous—-friendly, helpful and professional. Our beautiful room was spotless and the bed was so cozy. Cocktail bar is super fun in the evenings with delicious and unique concoctions. Made to order breakfast is terrific. We could not recommend The Ross more. Such a perfect stay!

Exceptional Stay at the Ross Hotel Killarney

The Ross hotel Killarney is a lovely small boutique hotel right in the center of Killarney's tourist town. The staff were so friendly and kind. I got stranded in the town as there was a massive deluge of rain all at once and all the roads got flooded in and out of the town. I phoned up the Ross and was greeted by a very friendly young man called Gwen (Spanish) in reception. Thankfully they had a twin room available. I only stayed one night. Got a bite to eat in their lovely front cocktail bar facing onto the street. The menu is light and small which suited me as it was late. I had the Chicken skewers and they were delicious. The room and bathroom were spotless and I loved the quirky colourful decor. The rooms are very spacious. The mirror on the bath and the locker was classy. Beautiful attention to detail. Colourful wallpaper which didn't distract as it was behind the bed. The little touches here and there were well thought out. The Tracy family have been in the hotel business for many years and you can tell that their experience is second to none. The Ross is now in the hands of the third generation. The Ross hotel has a big sister across the street called the Killarney Park hotel, which is an exclusive 5 star hotel recently renovated. It was great that they provided car parking for free at this hotel. Would love to stay there some day.
I would highly recommend this hotel for a couple of nights stay if you are visiting Killarney and the surrounding area. It has a very convenient location right in the town. I checked out with Roger the following morning and again the customer service was outstanding.

Just book it now!

The Ross is genuinely one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The rooms were clean, well sized, and the location is impossible to beat. All that we expected when we arrived after doing our due diligence. What we didn't expect was the warmness of the staff. They genuinely clearly care about your stay, are happy to offer advice, and get to know you personally. Shae and Roger and the whole crew are an absolute delight. At one point we were provided with some biscuits and they were incredible. I happened to mention to Roger how much I enjoyed them. The next day, after my wife and I had checked out and were headed to our car, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and Roger had chased us down through a crowd to give us a box of them to snack on as he knew we had a long drive ahead.
It's that kind of dedication that makes you feel at home. I can't wait to come back to Killarney and The Ross.

Gorgeous hotel

Gorgeous hotel! Woman owned and clearly woman designed. Great bar/lounge and breakfast. All rooms were unique and beautiful.
