Geringsing Bungalows Great Location.
The hotel continues to offer great service to guests,the staff are always attentive. There is currently a major seawall project in progress,the staff and management did their utmost to minimise the impact on their guests. The hotel swimming pool is shaded in the afternoons and is well maintained. The leafy garden is like an Oasis when entering the hotel. We are returning customers and thoroughly enjoy every minute at the hotel.

Extremely Happy Return Customers
We've spent 2 months here at Geringsing Bungalows and had a very relaxing time.
The hotel is quiet and private,the garden and pool are always clean and tidy, housekeeping is unobtrusive and thorough.
Thankyou to Wayan,Komang,Rare,Komang,Made & Intann
for making us so warmly welcome and giving us another marvellous experience.

Work to be undertaken
This rating is not a punishment but just an alert to make you react.
The location of the hotel is great, the beach is in the immediate vicinity and the buildings offer real potential.
We found the towels and sheets holed which is not normal and should have been detected immediately by the employees. The hotel deserves some embellishment work whether outdoors or in the rooms (the decoration of the bathroom for example, or the embellishment of the lobby and garden)
Once this work is done, you will have a small superb hotel. The staff is lovely and smiling.

Once a great accommodation, beware of old pictures and card charges
I booked this hotel on Booking.com. I chose this hotel because of the closeness to the beach and the beautiful pictures on the site, especially the bath with flowers. I love baths. As soon as I filled out the forms, my card was charged for the full 3 nights ( which I found interesting as all hotels usually charge before checkout)
As I settled in and looked up to the beams I saw a rat, running across...huh.. so I moved room, then realised that the beautiful pictures of the bath were not real ( maybe 5 years ago)...there was no tap at all and the bath was dirty and dried leaves were in...then the surprises just kept coming....
Just as I was ready for a shower, I was shut out from the bathroom as the rusty door handle fell out... lucky I was not inside as I would have been stuck in for the whole night...as it was 10pm there was only the security guard, who tried to fix the door but couldnt...
I was given the option to go into another bungalow and use the bathroom there... where I found out in the middle of the night that the toilet did not flush....so, I had enough.... After 1 night I wanted to check out...it was too much...
tried to contact the manager all morning ( the staff helped me through a phone translator to understand each other) ....the manager never came. Still, we talked on the phone, he agreed to cancel the rest of the booking and he promised to refund 2 nights.
Well, that's never happened...
I went back to Candi Dasa 3 weeks later and personally went into this hotel asking why I did not receive the promised payback on my card...the helpful staff tried to contact the manager/owner but he did not replay any message regarding my case....not even next day....and I still not received the refund it till today...( 3months later). Also, they charged me more than the Booking.com website and confirmation email...so beware!
Contacted Booking.com, but they could only offer that they send an email to the owner...and that was it. No more help from them either.

Candidasa's Hidden Gem
I am an Australian retired in Bali Just arrived at the Geringsing Beach Bungalows & what an amazing surprise we had, the staff greeted us with a smile helped us with our bags to our Deluxe Garden View Bungalow. When we opened the door my jaw dropped an absolute huge surprise, the room is huge with king size bed the staff had already put on the air-conditioning for us & turned on the fridge then it got better walked into the outdoor bathroom & was amazed how beautiful & clean it was. We have an amazing seaview from outside overlooking the ocean, I am going to be a long term guest here. Wayan the manager is very professional & easy to talk to, the gardens are beautiful the whole property is in shade with lots of frangipani trees & palm trees . We just came from staying in Legian which is not the real Bali, this place is the real Bali, tranquil quite. The property only has 8 Bungalows 2 Seaview front ocean facing 4 garden view villas, 1 standard villa & a villa called Vicki's House which I believe is a lot smaller than the others. Has a smart TV for Netflix only 5 local channels has a basic breakfast available if required but at an extra cost, has a cafe/ restaurant straight opposite the property & a Indomart a few local warungs close by & right next door is a 24 hour medical clinic.
I'm in love with this place already here for at least 6 - 12 months if Wayan will have me
