Good to place to stay for Somnath visit

The hotel is away from Somnath.....about 9 kms from the majestic Somnath Temple. Good and clean rooms, Good customer service. Hot water kettle, coffee available inside the room, so can prepare early AM coffee. Would recommend, if planning a visit to Somnath

Comparison with other hotels

The rooms are very old compared to other hotels. Since the other hotel is old, the price is also a little higher. It is very far from Somnath temple, about 11 to 12 kilometers. The service is good. The staff is friendly.

Lunch at Indish Restaurant

On a visit to Somnath. Stopped by for lunch at Heritage Hotel. A central location. As we were keen to have local Gujarati cuisine, we settled for a Gujarati Thali at Indish Restaurant in hotel, service was homely. Preparations of vegetables and other dishes were good

avoid if possible

Restaurant is good..food is nice and tasty.
Rooms are not very clean stains on the sofa. Location is ok..not very far from the temple.
Service is good.. Lunch was good.
Rooms are a bit small even though we had purchased a double room

Please avoid the stay

We were traveling from dwarka and reached late evening and had to move to gir safari early morning. The hotel as such infrastructure wise is good though 10 kms from shrine. The water available is salty and unusable. The drinking water placed in room is in water case, food is average, service ok. The biggest drawback is staff attitude which is least bothered, their breakfast starts a late 8 am for pilgrimage city and they couldn't accommodate our packed breakfast needs bluntly. Definitely spoilt our stay experience.
