Amazing stay at Pearl Courtyard, Varanasi.
We had a truly wonderful stay at Pearl Courtyard, Varanasi, from 25th to 27th March 2026. I would confidently rate everything a perfect 5/5 – including the stay experience, rooms, cleanliness, comfort, restaurant food, and room service.
A very special mention goes to the wonderful staff whose warmth and hospitality made our stay even more memorable: Sakshi, Rakesh, Manoj, Govind, Sarvesh, and Ashutosh. Each of them was extremely courteous, attentive, and always ready to help, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for throughout our stay.
We would also like to highlight the beautiful Banarasi saree outlet “Banarasi” within the property, which was a lovely addition to the experience and offered a wonderful touch of local culture and shopping.
Overall, my mother and I had an absolutely fantastic and memorable stay. We are truly grateful for the hospitality and would highly recommend Pearl Courtyard, Varanasi to anyone visiting the city.

Bad choice
The staff at the reception after quite a while found a solution with a lower category view (horrible) but I accepted.they were still kind.
At night, however, I had to call reception 3 times because upstairs (living room?) they moved furniture or whatever at night!!!!!
Until I went straight down to reception
Warning: Indians say they understand and will do what they have to but NEVER do!
Beware taxis do not take you to the hotel because the less pedestrian area

Horrible Stay

1. Front Desk & Check-in Nightmare
Misleading Branding: Despite the "Courtyard" in its name, this is not affiliated with any reputed chain—it is an independent private property.
Pre-Arrival Harassment: Received continuous calls from reception starting two days prior to check-in claiming the booking was unconfirmed, shifting all hassle onto the guest.
Late-Night Check-in Chaos: Upon arriving at 10:00 PM after a long journey, the hotel repeatedly shifted excuses—first claiming no booking existed, then claiming non-payment, and finally stating the amount paid via Ixigo was "not enough." Check-in was only granted after a heated argument.
2. Hidden Charges & Cash Demands
Predatory Payment Policies: The hotel strictly demands cash only for all on-site transactions. Paying digitally via GPay incurs an extra 18% surcharge.
3. Subpar Room Quality & Maintenance Issues
Overpriced & Dirty: At ₹4,000+ per night plus taxes, the room was nowhere near worth the price. Walls were untidy and poorly maintained.
Non-Stop Noise & Construction: Ongoing carpentry and drilling work on the same room floor made resting during the day impossible. Heavy hammering and drilling continued late into the evening (until 8:30 PM) and only stopped after three separate complaints to reception.
4. Unfriendly Service & Hospitality
Rude Staff: Floor managers and front desk staff were completely uncooperative and unwelcoming.
Poor Breakfast Experience: Breakfast service was completely neglected—staff did not even check in or ask for orders at the live counter.
