Honest review of my stay ( 23-24 Aug)
The hotel itself is good — the rooms are nice, the staff is polite, and the location is absolutely beautiful, right in front of the Kinnaur Kailash. However, unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing because of one major issue: lack of management and control over guests.
I have been staying here for two days, and on both days there was a similar situation. Yesterday, a group of around eight boys checked in around 5 PM and continued drinking, playing extremely loud music, shouting and creating noise almost throughout the night. There was no warning or intervention from the hotel management.
Today, the same thing happened again, this time with a group of boys and girls. Drinking, shouting, screaming and playing loud music at a very high volume — not even inside their rooms, but on the terrace, right in front of the peaceful Kinnaur Kailash.
What is most disappointing is that the hotel manager/staff took zero action on both occasions. No warning, no attempt to control the noise, and no effort to maintain a peaceful environment for other guests.
This is a hotel, not an Airbnb or a private party property. Guests should be made aware that they are staying in a shared property where other people have come to enjoy the peace and beauty of Kinnaur.
The location deserves a lot, but good rooms and a beautiful view are not enough if management cannot ensure basic guest discipline and a peaceful environment. I genuinely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and sets some clear rules regarding loud music, drinking and late-night noise, especially on the terrace.
I would have happily given this place a much better review if the management had simply handled these situations responsibly.
