A place out of time

This is my 4th stay in this place and I hope it is not the last, I LOVE it.
The quality of service is exceptional, the welcome, the
Staff is very caring, the cuisine is delicious, the pools are fantastic: this place is magical
The quality of the massages is beyond what can be expected.
Thank you to Mr. Fredericks and the WHOLE team for their kindness and kindness.
It’s amazing to find places like this where you feel so good.

Fantastic. Anytime again!

A beautiful hotel complex surrounded by a fantastic large garden. Only nice and great staff. Nature-based, sustainable and very social towards the poorer people here in the village.
The treatments and care provided by the doctors and therapists is fantastic.

Beautiful facility - warm staff

In 2011 I have been to this beautiful resort for 7 days. This time I visited Bethsaida Hermitage for 10 days AND again with a friend. The facility is a dream: two well-kept pools, dreamlike facility with different plants, warm team of doctors who respond to all pangs immediately and ask good questions and you always get the same two ladies for the time you are there for the treatments, who massage sensitively and respond to all needs. There are yoga classes 3x a day in a covered open space with ocean noise and beautiful views.
You hardly want to leave the facility - just outside is India! Colorful, chaotic, lots of garbage, but always beautiful (if you like India)! The resort is a bit secluded, but with taxi and tuk-tuk you can get anywhere quickly. The resort offers excursions if you don't want to explore India on your own.
The sea has a strong pull. You should feel safe in seawater. The two clean pools were enough for me....
Unfortunately, a huge container port is now being built on the doorstep, which (depending on the construction phase) causes more or less noise.
On the whole a feel-good oasis with a family flair. You come home like newborn....

Full of enthusiasm

We were overwhelmed from the first to the last minute by the kindness of all the people working in Bethsaida: Doctors, gardeners, handlers, housekeepers, cooks, receptionists.........
It was a very good atmosphere, in a beautiful complex that had grown over decades, which allowed “pure relaxation”.
The excellent , multi-layered , varied food was a daily highlight.
The room, with spacious bathroom and dressing room ( room 709) offered a very comfortable retreat. The medical team and the treatment staff accompanied with care, diligence, competence and trust.
We felt very comfortable in 2.5 weeks!
A container port is currently being built in the immediate vicinity of Bethsaida, the effects of which for the plant are not yet foreseeable.
We hope and hope that the Frederick family and all those involved in shaping Bethsaida will develop good solutions for these new circumstances, because this unique Hermitage is simply a dream !

The construction of the port has ruined all hotels in Kerala, recreation is now impossible((

Right across from this hotel and the neighboring ones - there's a port under construction, bulldozers around the clock, some working barges - noise, mud in the sea all along the coast of Kerala... We didn't know that, but there's no point in coming here anymore, and not just to this hotel, but to Kerala in principle - now it's an industrial area and all the mud from the bottom, and grinding and rattling around the clock. No information about this has been seen anywhere. They just hide it so people can come and live in this hell.
