Great location

Spent two of our five days in Big Fish Palolem. Staff very friendly and attentive. Vindaloo is as good as anywhere. Very good prices. Free sunbeads. Highly recommended

above good to excellent

Rooms/ cottages were clean but average with bare minimum amenities. Staff under able guidance of Santosh is exceptional and look after very well. Location is superb and the environment is great. I did not taste the food but the desert offered was excellent. The owner Wilson is a thorough gentleman and nice to talk to.

Short change at the Big Fish

Drinks average and all staff friendly!!! We tried to pay the bill and the cashier wouldn’t show us what was on card machine. Asked four time only for us to see he had double the bill.

Fabulous

We are in India for 2 months and stayed at Palolem for a few weeks and this is by the best restaurant. It’s amazing . The food is fabulous. The staff are really lovely and kind too . Salads are amazing . Large portions .
Definitely go to Big Fish.
They have a great ambience . Lovely menu with everything you can think of .
The owner has a great restaurant. Well done

Big Fish - fabulous place. We will be back!

We stayed at the Big Fish in January and we were very impressed, not only with the accommodation and the very friendly staff but with the fantastic food and location. Starting with the staff – Prakesh was the best, he seemed to be always there when we needed him, not just in the restaurant but bringing morning coffees to our veranda and afternoon beers to the beach while we relaxed on one of the many sun-loungers - what’s not to love. Wilson was the most helpful man in the world, I had a technical difficulty with my papers and he was instrumental in sorting these out for me, he went over and above with his help and care. Now to the accommodation, while it was basic, it was just what we needed for our beach escape. We had a non-AC room and the ceiling fan was more than adequate in keeping us cool whilst sleeping. I loved sitting on the veranda, reading and/or watching the sun, sand sea and people. Now the food in the restaurant, my husband laughed at me every time I ate something because I said it was the best XYZ (from curries, rotis, salads to omelettes and more) that I had ever eaten. Thank you Big Fish, especially, Wilson, Prakesh, Bunty and Santosh, you were great and made us feel really welcome. We will be back again without a doubt.
