Property located in centre of the city. Nice ambience. Whole property maintained very clean. All the staff right from front desk arr very cooperative and humble. Rooms are very hygienic.very few items are in buffet breakfast so this is the area to be looked into by the management. Overall experience was very good and it is one of the best prooerty for the stay in Davanagere.

Horrible experience at Hotel Ashok inn, Davangere

It's horrible hotel, poor service, odour in room, while booking on phone directly with the hotel make sure they are providing you correct description, they will give ac room rates and will say you have booked non ac room means they will charge for ac room and always give non ac room.
Avoid this hotel..
The front staff is also lier and non professional.

Suit Room Customer treated badly on 2-12-2023

Travelled 14 hours from Mumbai reached Davangere checked into Ashoka in Hotel in a suit room number 215 order food at 9:45to roshni. When the food did not come for half an hour. I called the restaurant one Mr Ajay pick up the phone he could not speak Hindi or English but in kannada. He said he will check but you never got back. Then I call the reception when Mr Suman picked up the phone and said he will check again did not get back. When I went down reception is Suman acted as if he doesn’t know anything and ask me to go to the restaurant and speak to the general manager. I went and I walked into the restaurant miss Roshni who had taken my order, said that she forgot the order and she asked me to repeat the order after one hour. I asked for the general manager and spoke to Mr Balakrishna. He acknowledged the issue but there was no resolve damage was done. I went out to a restaurant packed food and had food at 12 o’clock in the night. Staff in this hotel are not accountable at all. A suite room customer is treated like this.

Lacks hygiene and cleanliness/Food was good

Location:
Situated approximately 2 kilometers from NH48, the hotel enjoys a convenient and easily accessible location right on the main road, surrounded by a bustling small market.
Hotel Structure:
Boasting a modern and recently renovated appearance, the hotel structure exudes a fresh and new ambiance.
Food:
The culinary experience at the hotel was delightful, with delicious and reasonably priced meals. The swift delivery of orders significantly reduces the waiting time for guests.
Hygiene and Cleanliness:
Regrettably, the aspect that fell short of expectations was hygiene and cleanliness. The reception area and rooms were plagued by mosquitoes, and the uneven bathroom flooring led to water accumulation during showers, as it struggled to drain properly. The linens, including the bedsheet and pillows, appeared old and inadequately cleaned, with noticeable blood stains on both bedsheets.
I earnestly urge the hotel management to address these cleanliness concerns promptly. Enhancing hygiene standards will undoubtedly contribute to a more comfortable and pleasant stay for future guests.

Pleasant and Peaceful Stay

This property is located in the heart of the city. Next to KSRTC Bus Stand proximity to Railway Station. Rooms are clean, so is the toilets. Staff are very courteous and food is also tasty.
But their is no gym in this property and dish tv are not functional and also their is no 24 hours hot water. For each room service we need to call the reception.
