Great hotel with very friendly and enthusiastic staff!

I don't get the negative reviews. It is a small and cozy hotel where we met a very enthusiastic welcome. Really committed staff, delicious dinner on the terrace, stove made for us and a huge extensive breakfast buffet with juice that was freshly squeezed for us and all good tasty and fresh food. The beds were good. The room is simple but everything is there. A hair dryer, soap in the shower, 2 towels, night lights, nice thick curtains etc. Yes it is noisy but otherwise everything top.

Running away!!!

The room is so small you can't even open your suitcase on the floor. There is no locker provided for your clothes. Bathroom is ice cold (no heating) and smells like sewer.
We didn't get much sleep. You literally hear everything from the neighbors. Plus, there's a camera pointed at your bedroom window. Unfortunately booked 4 nights. 660 euros paid.... terrible, never again!!!

Very basic

Super basic in the heart of entertainment Valkenburg completely unsuitable if you do not have earplugs and sleep is dear to you.
Huge noise pollution from surroundings and other hotel guests.
Expect only a bed and a sink.
No vitrage oid. so the 'over neighbors' can see right into your room.
Hot and cold water from the washbasin are mounted in reverse.

NOT customer friendly at all

We (two couples) had booked two rooms at this hotel. The employees were very grumpy and not helpful at all. Upon arrival we were not greeted friendly at all. We got there around 11 am and check in time was around 3 pm, we had left the bags at the hotel, luckily that was possible. We returned around 3 p.m., we had to pay and were given the key, but it was not explained to us that it was useful to reserve a table for the evening, due to crowds and the lights parade. So there is a restaurant underneath the hotel and they have a terrace where you can see the light parade. Unfortunately, we had to find out for ourselves and worst of all, when a spot became available on the terrace of le Bistro, we were sent away because you were only allowed to sit there if you were also going to dine... Then later we looked on the terrace, there were ladies sitting there with only a drink and a sandwich... very bad service! In addition, the beds are very bad, they creak a lot and you lie on the springs. The only positive was the breakfast, which was fine and the service from the employee was good. I certainly don't recommend going here and we won't come back here again. Never had such a bad experience.

Nice cosy an very close to Cauberg

Nice small hotel in a Nice arera. Bath is not in the room. It can be at little cold. What puts this humble little hotel on top is the atmosphere.
Nice People. Good trappist beer, and when you follow Amstel Gold Race its perfekt.
See you next year.
