As long as the Kids enjoy themselves

Despite it being a bit dated the children have had an excellent time
Cottage was clean and friendly staff
A lovely shower a beautiful playground both inside and outside
And if the kids are having fun then everyone happy right?
Too bad toddler bath outside wasn't open yet the big bath was
It was a wonderful weekend with his 5s
Ps good beds

Hartelijk dank voor uw enthousiaste en uitgebreide review! Wat fijn om te horen dat uw kinderen zich uitstekend hebben vermaakt en dat u tevreden was over de schoonmaak, het vriendelijke personeel, de heerlijke douche, de prachtige speeltuinen en de goede bedden. We begrijpen dat het jammer was dat het peuterbad buiten nog niet open was; we nemen uw feedback mee om onze faciliteiten verder te verbeteren. A very fat 0

Went home early! Really no park for us. Too much noise well into the night. Read this as, screaming people, lots of alcoholic refreshments, music is too loud and way too long. The night's sleep from 11 pm to 7 am is certainly not used! In fact, from about 3:00 am, it gets a bit quieter to which you hear the next one around 5.15 am. Dog poop on the camping field! In short, don't go there!

Bedankt dat u de tijd heeft genomen om uw ervaring te delen, al vinden we het erg jammer om te horen dat de haven niet aan uw verwachtingen voldeed. We streven ernaar om onze faciliteiten zo duidelijk mogelijk te presenteren en nemen uw feedback over de communicatie rondom de jachthaven serieus. The whole place is a mourning game, except for what you see from the road or the driveway to the campsite.

We were from 23.06 to 29.06 with the caravan there on the Ijsselweide, the pitches are very nice and also sufficiently large, but what is not possible at all is the access to the pitches, this is paved under all S.., with a hump in it, where every team with caravan or motorhome puts on, which you are afraid to tear open the underbody. Furthermore, the permanent campers there also behave under Aller S.., the palavern around until the early hours of the morning, addressing them on this is no use, because they think they are in charge there. We had two days of rain in the week where like there, and then it is impossible to use the sanitary house unless you sit down on the toilet with the umbrella!.
As far as the water supply is concerned, I can only advise everyone not to put the yellow broth coming from the pipe into the fresh water tank, and to get their service water in Terwolde in the jumbo in bottles.
The same with the places on the square, these are only open on Saturday and Sunday, this is not mentioned with a word on the website.
Since the operator of Scherpenhof, or those responsible, cannot handle criticism on Facebook, everything that does not suit them is deleted or blocked.

Peaceful getaway!

On arrival, the site appears to be more mobile home accommodation than campsite.
But, hidden round the back is a wonderfully large camp area, with large pitches.
It was not very crowded, so was a peaceful escape, and a useful launch point for visiting this area.
Terwolde itself is a very small village (with a coop for groceries), and the campsite is about a mile away. Basically, very isolated!
Electricity is only 4amp, but this was enough.
Toilets were clean, although you must bring your own toilet paper!
I am glad the site wasn’t too full, as I don’t think the toilet / shower block would have been adequate if every pitch was taken!
