Beautiful spot in Friesland
You have to be prepared for mosquitoes, otherwise it will be restless nights.
Facility downstairs (bathroom & bedroom) simple, but clean & practical. Upstairs a well-equipped kitchen (with a toaster & cereal bowls it would be perfect) & a comfortable & cozy living area. Not to forget: balcony with morning sunrise (left side) or evening sunset (right side). And always new ships as neighbors ;-)
Small supermarket within walking distance & Terherne as a starting point for lots of excursions by bike, car or boat --> ideal!!!

Not a resort at all, everything is closed in april
Everything was closed in this so called resort. There was no reception, instead of a Harbor Master, there was a QR Code on a sheet of paper, asking to pay your port mooring fee if you are arriving with a vessel. There is no restaurant or a shop.
The house has no dishwasher or a washing machine. The bathroom is like a typical bathroom you find on a camping ground. The toilet is seperate.
You have to pay a cleaning fee and you have to do some cleaning yourself. The house must be left "bezemschoon". Because there is no broom, you have to use the vaccuum cleaner to remove bigger particles of dust. The rental of duvet covers is mandatory and costs 14 euro per person. You have to make up the beds yourself. The extra fee (tourist tax and environment fee) is 4 euro per person per night.
The house has one advantage: it is in the center of the village Terherne, so you can walk to the Kameleon Dorp and a couple of restaurants. It is also possible to rent a boat. It was quiet and deserted. In summer it can be fun, I think, if you have got your own boat and use the house for sleeping.

Small and quite resort
Houses are clean and well equipped.
We loved the layout of the houses where the living room is on the first floor and the bed- & bathrooms are downstairs.
Resort is very quiet.
Staff is friendly.

"Terhernce haven resort" - Relaxing and peaceful stay
Very quiet neighborhood, nice bike / walk trail nearby. Walking distance from super market and restaurants. central location for visiting nearby villages.
