Een goede keuze in Rotterdam!
I usually stop st H2otel when I visit Rotterdam for the ATP Tennis. This time I went with a cheaper option as it included breakfast. It’s in a residential area close to Depot van Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen (well worth a visit) a few minutes walk from restaurants and supermarkets and a 12 minute walk from Rotterdam Centraal.
My room was very basic and old fashioned but clean and warm. Breakfast and the breakfast area were excellent although the women serving breakfast seemed to be understaffed (especially Saturday and Sunday) and not very friendly. On the other hand, the evening reception staff were exceptionally friendly, particularly Bavo.
A comfortable 7-night stay at a reasonable price. I’ll certainly stay again when I visit for the tennis in 2027! Hopefully Draper and Norrie will be injury free!

Made sure I had gluten free bread available for breakfast and catered really well for my year old granddaughter. Hotel run by lovely friendly people. Great stay.

Great location for access to shops, bars and restraunts. Only 15 minutes walk from the train station. Hotel staff were excellent. My only criticism is the balcony was a little tired overlooking an untidy garden area with no furniture to sit out on. But I would stay at this hotel again.

Great hotel in good location
Stayed 6nights while we explored Rotterdam and the surrounds. Hotel is well located near the Bloemkwekersstraat tram stop and Eendrachtsplein subway station. There are also supermarkets like Dirk and Albert Heijn within close walking distance.
We arrived too early for check in but were able to leave our luggages with the helpful Barbara at front desk. She was extremely kind and helpful with providing information on when to return etc. The lovely Natalie checked us in later that afternoon. Natalie is super professional, friendly with great sense of humour, nothing is too much trouble and always have time for us. Gave us so much information and tips about the hotel and surrounding areas. Also kudos to Rob and Kim- always helpful and welcoming.
The room we were assigned was 209, easily accessible via the lift. It had a balcony and overlooks the rear of the hotel and adjacent apartments. Very quiet and peaceful. Bedroom and bathroom both generously sized. The shower is in bath and has excellent water pressure. There is also a heater towel rack and plenty of hooks to hang towels etc. Bed was comfortable, but pillows are a bit lumpy. There is a ceiling fan above the bed for those warmer nights if required. There is a small work desk and wardrobe that holds extra blanket and pillows.
Not hotel’s fault, but we had some very heavy footed neighbours in the room directly above us, stomping around like a herd of angry elephantsy! There is no coffee/ tea making facilities in the room but you are welcome to ask for a flask of hot water from reception and they can provide crockery and cutlery. You just need to BYO tea, coffee, sugar, creamer etc. Continental breakfast was in buffet style with hot items cooked to order. There is also a coffee machine to make your fancy cup of brew. Rosie and Artee at breakfast are both very hospitable, they do a wonderful job, always very quick to see to your needs. Extremely happy with our stay and definitely highly recommend a stay at Hotel Breitner.

Lovely little boutique hotel well situated with a lovely breakfast and the most helpful staff.
Would have been 5☆ if not for having to run the gauntlet of smoking guests on the front steps and very steep stairs (but there is a lift).
