A very nice and quiet location

Reserved. Friendly welcome and friendly staff.
After a drink both opted for twelve hours of meat. Was served properly.
Great food and service. View of park behind. Affordable meal. Parking in front of the Villa. Clean sanitary facilities.

Nice house in a nice location. Small breakfast windown, and bizarre shut out before that

the hotel is a nice old villa in the centre of town. the rooms are small but reasonably decent, although availability of soap and shower gel is limited to a tiny tube that wouldn’t serve double occupancy. Fortunately, we brought our own.
Bizarrely, breakfast on Sunday was served only between 8.30 and 10, although it was advertised and announced at check-in as being from 8 to 10, which I consider short already.
Even more bizarrely, the spacious common area was phyiscally locked off until that moment. I woke up earlier than my room mate and was looking for a place just to sit and read while waiting for breakfast and was confined to a corner of the reception.
i was clearly not the only person expecting earlier breakfast: people kept trickling down between 8 and 8.30, bumping into a closed door. There were 8 of us by 8.20. And this is not a big place
Very very odd and inhospitable.

Hotel is lovely and clean however, the rooms are in a loft. Our room was 43 degrees when we stayed. The heat was unbearable, to the point I woke up and was sick during the night.
We asked if we could cancel our second night and they wouldn't refund us, despite the room effecting our health.
They did provide free cold drinks from the bar and a second fan.
I would stay again, however not in the summer as the heat in the rooms is awful.

The hotel is in an amazing old building in a really nice town. The staff are friendly, and the lobby and restaurant and modern and clean. That's where the positives end. The stairwell and rooms are more like a youth hostel, basic and in need of a serious upgrade. The beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are awful! Breakfast is very basic, and needs more attention as for most of the time trays were empty and people were waiting around for them to be topped up. The parking areas is small, so there's a good chance you will need to park on the street, or in the retail area opposite.

Was a little expensive, plus the room was too small for a family of 4; beds blocked access to wardrobe and needed moving under the desk to gain access to the bathroom. Only room for luggage was under the beds.
