Positive experience!
It was the first time we stayed here.
Friendly welcome, we were even allowed to choose our room (which floor,quiet room,...).We got a room on the 9th floor.There were plenty and fast elevators because it is a large hotel, located on the highway and the airport.
You hear and see the planes of course but we know that from home, so we did not suffer from it (and with the windows closed you hardly heard them).
The parking is free for 24h and if you stay longer as a hotel guest you must report it.
The breakfast is fantastic (I only missed my nutella and sandwiches but that's personal). What I loved were the French toast.
The room was very spacious (comfort room with balcony), nice view, everything there for our stay, good wifi, mini fridge, air conditioning.
The pool and the small wellness are once nice for entertainment, although it was crowded in the pool (pleasant water, towels available). In the steam room there could be more steam for us.
We have been to the shopping center 'woensel', there you can shop and also eat something. Near the hotel there is little to do.

A great stay, a wonderful upgrade and an unforgettable birthday
We stayed two nights at Van der Valk Eindhoven and had a great stay. If it were up to us, we'd want to stay here every weekend. From the moment we entered everything felt cared for and luxurious. The hotel is beautifully decorated, attention to detail is everywhere and both the lobby and the downstairs toilets smell wonderfully fresh.
On arrival our minibar was still replenished. Later we discovered that it was included for free, something we didn't know beforehand. We thought that was a very nice surprise.
We started our stay on July 1 in our first room. Also this room was already fantastic. We had a beautiful view, a spacious bathroom with double shower, double sinks, a sauna, a nice freestanding white hot tub, a large television, a desk, a Dyson hair dryer with curler, bathrobes, bath slippers and a safe. We found the sliding doors that closed the bathroom of the room very nice and practical.
During our stay we noticed that the sauna door rubbed the floor a bit. I passed this on and someone was immediately sent to look. The employee was very friendly and explained that this was a more common problem and that this had already been passed on to the company that maintains the sauna.
The next morning I told a waitress this over breakfast. We had a very nice conversation, also because it was my birthday. She indicated that I had to report it to the reception anyway, because you pay a lot for a stay and Van der Valk wants guests to have it all their own way.
I then went to the reception again. Not much later I got a call asking if I would rather someone else came to look at the door or if we wanted to upgrade. The receptionist enthusiastically told me about the other room and made me curious. On my birthday, July 2, we moved into our new room.
What a great surprise that was! The second room was really beautiful. We had a balcony with a great view. Where we had a view of the highway from the first room, we got a combination of highway, nature and the landing planes in the second room. Normally I love peace, nature and water, but I loved this view. The activity of the highway, the greenery and the planes that landed nearby made it a special and unique view for us. From the room and the sunbeds outside by the pool we could see the planes landing, which was really an experience.
This room was more than complete: a large round bubble bath, double shower, double sinks, sauna, steam room, large television, desk, Dyson hair dryer with curler, bathrobes, bath slippers and a safe. Again, the minibar was neatly replenished.
The breakfast was really excellent. There was a very wide choice and the egg dishes were freshly prepared. Everything was of good quality. We also had one evening downstairs and that was also very good. In addition, we found it very welcoming that we were allowed to continue eating upstairs.
The wellness we loved. There were several saunas present and during our visit it was wonderfully quiet. The pool was heated and had a nice temperature. You can relax on the sunbeds both indoors and outdoors. Lockers are also available at the pool. A tip: bring bath slippers or use the existing bath slippers, because the floors around the saunas can get very hot.
Also the gym is a big plus. It is open 24 hours a day, so you can exercise at any time.
What stuck with us most is the hospitality of the employees. Both the ladies at the reception and the staff at breakfast were incredibly friendly, had a nice chat and really took their time. One of the receptionists enthusiastically told us about the clothes the staff wear and even gave us a link where to find them.
The rooms were also very well insulated. With the window closed we heard virtually nothing from the highway. In addition, there is ample parking.
The combination of the beautiful rooms, the wonderful wellness, the extensive breakfast, the luxurious look and especially the friendly staff makes this hotel special for us. The way our report about the sauna door was handled shows that hospitality is really important here.
We therefore give Van der Valk Eindhoven 5 out of 5 bulbs with full conviction. A great stay that we will not soon forget. We will definitely be back here again!

Enjoy in the wellness suite of Van der Valk Eindhoven-Best!
Last weekend we slept at Van der Valk Eindhoven-Best. Last minute we decided to get away and ended up at this hotel. We booked the Wellness Suite because it looked beautiful and had exactly the facilities we were looking for. For example, the room had a whirlpool, a sauna, a large TV and a nice view over Eindhoven. In addition, a stocked minibar and bathrobes were included, which gave the stay that little bit extra.
The room was clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. Actually, that was true for the whole hotel. From the impressive lobby to the atmospheric rooftop bar, everything looked neat and stylish. Because of this we really enjoyed our stay to the fullest.
After booking I started reading reviews about the hotel myself. It mainly showed that the food would be disappointing. As a result, we were a bit skeptical beforehand. Eventually we decided to have dinner at the hotel, just because it was so easy. We have had absolutely no regrets. The restaurant was completely full, but we were quickly helped. The service was friendly, attentive and came regularly to ask if everything was satisfactory. The menu may not be very extensive or special, but we did not mind at all. A good schnitzel with fries is fine for us, and it also tasted very good. The cocktails were also delicious, with the favourite being the Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri. As far as we are concerned, the restaurant is definitely recommended.
In addition, the hotel has a wellness that is accessible to all hotel guests. Here you will find five saunas, a swimming pool and several sunbeds. The wellness was well taken care of. We ourselves only used it for a short time, because it was quite busy and of course we also had a private sauna and whirlpool in our room. We do have a small tip for the hotel: make sure you have enough towels in the wellness area. When we were there, they were gone, so some guests could not dry themselves.
Finally, we ended the evening in the rooftop bar. Like the rest of the hotel, this one was tastefully decorated and a lovely place to have a drink with a view over Eindhoven. On the menu there were no snacks, but the staff still managed to arrange bitterballen for us somewhere else. We found that a very attentive service.
We really enjoyed our stay and look back on a wonderful night. We would love to come back here!

Restaurant nice. Food not so nice.
Lunch here takes a lot of time. Tepid cappuccino and bouncer that won’t burn your mouth either. Service does its best but unfortunately they can’t. You have to indicate yourself that you want another drink. Don't be asked if everything is satisfactory either. Other vd Valk restaurants are better.

Place is stunning, maybe not from the outside, but once inside it looks amazing.
I was in Eindhoven for work and had a short stay at this hotel.
Great amenities, amazing and very comfortable bed.
Staff is very accommodating.
The only downside is that it is located somewhat in a vacuum between Best and Eindhoven. Not an issue at all as long as you have a car.
