Pleasant modern and clean
The kitchen/living area doubles up as bedroom for any members of the party in addition to those occupying the bedroom. For families (as was the case for us) this is ideal to keep the cost down - the children had two beds in the living area which otherwise I guess would have been sofas, but comes with the limitations of us if occupants are sleeping. Obviously if you are out doing things during the majority of the day and using this as somewhere to sleep it is of minimal impact.
One downside, although this is clear when booking, is the absence of a swimming pool. The rear "garden" which was basically scrub-land would lend itself so well to a small pool.
The only other thing to consider is that it is about 1 mile out of the centre of Sami. The walk is not particularly hard, but it is quite a busy road and for roughly the first half (from accommodation to Sami) or last half (from Sami to accommodation) there was no pavement. It is perfectly do-able, and we did it on a number of occasions, but a consideration dependent on ages of any children in your party/whether you are hiring a car.

Very pleasant apartment
Family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children who were 15 & 17).
The rooms were lovely and modern. Kept nice and clean.
The 2 children’s beds were in the lounge/kitchen/diner area which meant we couldn’t use the area as a lounge but as we were out pretty much all day it didn’t really matter.
We were on the ground floor so we only had a back view and a terrace but it was a nice area to sit in.
We chose the rooms knowing it was a bit of a walk into Sami - about a 15/20min walk which wasn’t an issue for us.
It’s around a 30min walk to Drogarati Caves.
A pool would be nice but we did notice that if you are staying there you are allowed to use the pool at the caves free of charge which was a good bonus.
All in all a lovely place to stay and would recommend.

Both the Studios and Sami were quiet, beautiful and peaceful!!!!
This was our fourth visit to Kefalonia but this was easily the best place we have stayed at.
Restaurants in Sami are mixed but all over good value for money.
I would say car hire is essential if you want to get around and see the island and its sights.
