10 days of bliss
We've just come back from a very relaxing 10 day stay at the Apolafsi Villas. Located about 2km from the centre of Lixouri, its close enough to walk to, but far enough away to be quiet at night.
We stayed in one of the maisonette studios on the ground floor (room 20), which felt very fresh and had a lot of space. We had fresh towels most days and the friendly cleaning staff did a great job each day.
The pool and surrounding area was kept nice and tidy, with a good choice of drinks, ice-cream and snacks available from the pool bar.
The restaurant where breakfast is served is lovely and we had a few meals in the evening there as well.
All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A perfect place to stay for a nice relaxing holiday.

Fine apartments and owners
Saturday 15 August 2026 returned from this beautiful, well-kept complex. The location is very nice and quiet. Lixouri is walkable.
We had for 12 days studio nr 15.
On the ground floor, with a spacious terrace, spacious shower and very well maintained. The owners and staff are very involved and make every effort for a super nice holiday experience. The restaurant is from breakfast which is very well catered for to a delicious dinner with stunning views. Fantastic staff at the service
The ladies of cleaning are real toppers. Give them a few euros every now and then. Not to expect more of it but out of respect and appreciation for what they do.
The pool bar is ideal. From a delicious cocktail to lunch. Everything can and will be arranged for you.
The beds are perfect. No old stuff but good mattresses.
All in all we have only been able to enjoy 12 days of Apolafsi.
We will definitely be back.

Shhhh..... keep it secret !
Shhhhh - don't let anyone know how good this place is -once you've tread this review, keep it secret. Seriously, this was our second visit in 2 years (and we're going back next may / June). We've visited many greek islands and have come to find (with one or two exceptions), that every accommodation we have chosen has been exactly what we like (quiet, clean, slightly outside town, but within easy walking walking distance to town). However, Apolafsi is something more than that. It's a family run business which focusses on it's visitors, who are treat like old friends. We love this place and can't wait to go back, but please, don't share our secret too widely !!

Simply the best
Wow, the best place in Greece we have stayed and we have visited Kefalonia many times. Beautiful place, great accommodation, lovely pool area with great views, restaurant serving the best meals on the Island. The owners, Bobiz and family were so friendly and welcoming. Special mention to Jealene who ran the pool bar. She had a great personality and is superb at your job, nothing was too much trouble. Will certainly be returning.

Kefelonia at its best
Absolutely brilliant stay.
Great location with wonderful views.
The moment we arrived we felt like part of the family.
15 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and another 5 minutes to harbour and square where there are ample restaurants and bars.
accommodation, pool bar,pool area, restaurant and all staff 10/10.
15 minute walk to lepeda beach with beds costing 10 euros for 2 and great little taverna, the meatballs are amazing
Clean toilets and changing huts available.
We recommend the island tour which included nunnery visit,wine tasting,drogariti caves,Melissani lake, Agia efimia stop for lunch, photo opportunity looking down on to Myrtos beach.
Special thanks to Gillian our Jet 2rep who was very helpful and to Spiros who quickly returned my wallet to me at the ferry port after I left it on the bench in the reception by accident.
We will definitely return to this wonderful hotel in the near future.
